Thanks for the heads up.  The cost of excursions is/was already ridiculous.  Looks like I'll be going home with yet another handbag to spend my OBC (and probably DH's as well 😅).

Would you be so kind as to confirm the price of speciality dining?  Chef's Table?          Thank you.

Speciality is $35 pp and Chef's Table $95pp

  2. Currently on Onward and the excursion prices have increased by up to 25% on those being sold online pre-boarding, so do try to book in advance.

They are now offering a 10% discount onboard if you book 3 or more excursions for future cruises ( not B2B ).

  3. Rang at lunchtime to use OBC to secure shore excursions. Noticed that amount of OBC and amount available had changed overnight! OBC now included promotional OBC, B2B OBC and OBC associated with Essentials package, all available to spend.

Phone answered on UK contact line within 2 rings by US agent who processed the 'payments' and has even sent me a guest ticket booklet, which I have been unable to get from my agent! Also followed up on getting OBC added for subsequent trip.

Difficult to reconcile numbers when reservation over several legs and amounts charged in £, but overall looks about right, so overall a happy bunny for once!

U.K. t&c’s were updated last year but as blag correctly says previous t&c’s didn’t allow for any free changes for bookings made off ship. During the pandemic free changes were being allowed as but that stopped some time ago.

That said the current t&c’s as shown on the website do allow for changes of sail date and ship with a fee of £75 pp it also goes on to say the new cruise will be charged at the current prevailing rate. Presumably you would therefore lose any incentives included in the original cruise, copy of the relevant information following:-

1.10 Can I make changes to my booking after it has been confirmed?
Should you wish to make any changes to your confirmed holiday, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible. Whilst we will endeavor to assist you, we cannot guarantee we will be able to meet any such request. For guests wishing to make a significant amendment to their booking outside of 90 days from departure, such as changing the ship or sail date, note that a booking transfer fee is applicable. Please note that any amendments for hotels, transfers and flights may result in the loss of the amount that was collected at the time of booking for these additional components. The transfer fee is £75 per guest which is limited to the first two guests on a booking, therefore any additional guests will not be charged as well.

Thank you confirming Riocca. I may follow up with them on this.

I believe that the 'one change' rule applied to onboard bookings only.

Were your original bookings made on board and assigned to your TA, or did you book thorough your TA?

If the latter is the case, then the t&c's have not changed.

No I didn't book onboard. Booked from UK but asked at the time, Feb 22, whether it would be possible. My TA says they changed T&Cs in Aug 22.

I think it quite possible that I was misled by my TA, although they allegedly handle the highest no of Az bookings in the UK.

Yes, they did say that you can still do a change but only if you book onboard.

Thanks for taking the time to reply blag!

Glad it’s worked for you. Shows they can get it right!

Maybe we should have persisted. We just wanted to lift and shift which we believed we were eligible to do. Our agent tried we tried all communication remains unanswered today. We past the deadline for making the transaction so we’ve lost two deposits and our free nights. Leaves a horrid taste in our mouths. Our door remains open if they ever wake up 😀

Same thing has happened to us, our TA told us that Azamara had changed t&cs after we booked and we could no longer make one change (this we confirmed with agent prior to booking).  We lost £1,500 as a result.

It makes no legal sense to me and, at the time, I intended to follow up, not being sure whether it was down to Azamara or incorrect advice from TA, or whether it's just because we are in the UK, it all seems very inconsistent.

One thing for sure is I won't be booking way in advance with them again, just pay & go from here in!

Same here, but still no coupons for B2B OBC.

Checked mine, I have 2 consecutive reservations, one with 3 B2B and then a single cruise. The reservation with the 3 B2B doesn't seem to have the OBC coupons but the subsequent one does! It's all a bit confusing, but looks like they might be getting there.....

Well, tried it on a desktop and still nothing. Shopping bag brings up reservation details in a smaller window and then shows a list of my booked shore excursions but when I click on them I just get the description of the excursion and no way to pay. I never had the onboard credit icon they describe in my record, so is that the problem?

Same for me. I've sent a request for assistance to Azamara, let's see what they come back with.......

We have previously cancelled then rebooked a cruise in the same cabin when the price dropped dramatically. We lost our £500 deposit on the first booking, but ended up saving about £1800 overall.

When was that? This is what my uk agent saying I must do now but when I booked in Feb 22 they said I could move my bookings once foc. Agent says t&cs changed Aug 22 and I am bound by new terms!

  10. Hi there,

Yes the same has happened to us. We have no B2B OBC credit showing for segments of the world cruise in 2024 and my loyalty points have gone completely!

I'm sure they'll fix the issue before we travel though, so I'm going to give them time to do so and let those travelling more imminently contact them!

Been away so only just back on wifi, managed to log into account without trouble after changing password. More a case of luck than IT skill. We have back to back booked for November but on board credit for that seems to have disappeared, fortunately have photos of previous totals, seem to be missing a lot of money. Anyone else having similar problem before I email them. I have already emailed them about missing points for a 2 week cruise over Christmas. The cruise at Christmas was brilliant in every respect, we really hope that they sort out their system as some of the horror stories on here will discourage many of us no matter how good the cruise. Many of us are of an age where "we can well do without problems"

We booked an oceanview guarantee once and pretty much straight away got allocated a cabin with a large obstructed view which I knew was a possibility . I thought about it and changed it to a balcony. It depends if you are happy to take the risk. I realised for us we are too fussy for a guarantee!!

Exactly the same happened to us, I would not do that again!

We are currently on Journey and have been told that we have also been cleared to have a White Night on 23rd! Weather dependant obviously.

There are currently 274 passengers onboard, should be a good night.

Just a follow up from Journey and the Chefs Table on Tuesday evening. It was back to previous format at the long table in Prime C accommodating a total of 12 which was a tad unexpected but so so memorable….that combination of food, wine & great company which can not be beaten.

Life continues to feel pretty safe, on shore there seems to be an expectation of mask wearing outside and in … ongoing chat about what Boris or Nicola might come up with next is always about.

However as the sun sets, and we leave for Tenerife feeling very blessed.

One of the factors for such high turnout must be the amount of free OBC they have been giving lately, they have to let people spend it somehow! Glad to hear that you are having a great time, we are boarding on Saturday.

  14. I wish the person infected a speedy recovery and a good quarantine experience, whether that is onboard or ashore. Whilst it's disappointing to have Covid cases, I do I find it very positive that these are announced by the captain, rather than have the cloak and dagger shennanigans other cruise lines seem to be following.

Yesterday, everyone on the Quest was given a COVID test and not one person tested positive.  We were told thus far no one has tested positive on the Quest and it is classified a “Green” under the CDC rules.  Let’s hope it stays hat way, specially when it returns to Miami.

So, how often are they testing onboard?
