Funny you should mention that. I used to play golf there when I was in the Navy and Roosevelt Roads was open. They offered a special for military that was hard to beat. We would play 18 holes then go to the Casino. ( This was many years ago). Then the designated driver would be stuck taking a bunch of drunk sailors home.

I live in Europe and the TGV is wonderful especially in 1st class. Yes planes can be cheaper but arriving in CDG sucks and the time to actually get into Paris proper and the time on the front actually makes it a fair trade. There are discounts if you book your tickets early.

For what it is worth Celebrity is being prudent. After the attack on the US consulate in Instabul and with Tukrey joining the fight against ISIS. The State department has issued travel warnings and the US Armed forces is allowing dependents to go home voluntarily. There is a lot of concern about Turkey right now.

We are taking our first cruise later next month. What is the drill with room service when you are done? Is like a hotel where you put the tray back in the hall, or is their a different etiquette?
Stupid question I know, but would rather not be embarrassed later.

My wife and I will be on the same cruise. This will be our first cruise. We are really looking forward to it. We will also be in a JS on Deck 8.

My wife and I picked the Splendour of the Seas because it was a smaller ship. It will be our first cruise so I am looking forward to it.
