It was a bomb threat but we are finally back on the ship. The captain just announced that we were faced with a security incident that has now been resolved. Thank goodness. We should still leave on time.

Today we arrived in San Juan and after touring the island for a couple hours, we were surprised that we are not allowed to get back on the ship. Apparently there was a "verbal physical threat made to the ship" so no one is allowed to get on, and folks who remained on board are not allowed off. There are dozens of police and fireman around the area and at the ship's entrance. We are suppose to disembark at 10 pm, it's only 7:15 right now. Anyone else know what's going on?

Thank you for the awesome review Jessica. We are boarding IOS this Sunday and I am very excited. Your review was very helpful answering some of my concerns. We have an 11:30 am flight on the way back and plan to self assist to disembark.

Our kids have cruised 4 times with Royal and they do not have passports. We use their birth certificates and have never had an issue. This year we decided to get them passports but will not have them before we cruise in 7 days. That said, their birth certificates will be used, no worries.

Yesterday on day 2 of our cruise the worst thing happened and my father became critically I'll and as we were at sea we were airlifted to Lisbon. I have a fear of flying so being winched off was very traumatic. There were loads of passengers taking photos. If anyone has any I would really like to see some . It may sound strange / morbid but I'd like to . If anyone has any please contact me , thanks
My dad is stable in ICU ,;we are all hoping he'll recover . Royal Caribbean staff have been amazing x
So sorry to hear that, hoping your father recovers. Glad he is stable. The video clip taken by the emergency staff is pretty incredible. Hopefully others may be able to share photos for you.

That's my point... they DIDN'T buy the package and they WEREN'T complaining. You really didn't understand any of what was said.
They were stating, as many others have, that the drink packages simply aren't a good financial decision for them. Even on cruises with lots of sea days, they just don't drink enough to make it worthwhile financially.
Lol! I live the RIF picture in your response. It was perfect! Lol.

Swimwear with cover ups in the morning and day or shorts/shirt or casual dress. Dresses, skirts and blouses in the evening. We sometimes dress up only for dinner and pictures then back in shorts/top or less dressy wear for the late shows.

Hi kford. This morning I'm seeing a FI interior avail for your cruise on deck 2 (324sf)
You should price that out asap compared to any other interior K/L/PR (only 150-160sf)
Oh thank you for sharing that. I am calling now

We've done it with 3 people several times, one of which was our 6'4" son. He did not have any complaints about the Pullman bed, and believe me, if he had been miserable for 7 nights, we would have heard about it! I don't remember feeling crowded or miserable, or in danger of being elbowed!:D Granted, we do not usually spend much time in the room even when we have a balcony, but it wasn't bad and I would do it with 4 people if I needed to.
Sherri:)
We wanted 2 cabins, but it wasn't an option since the only cabins left at the time we booked were 3 Jr. Suites going for over $6500 total. We only paid $1980 total with the BOGO. We asked ourselves if the extra space of being in a Jr. Suite together vs. an interior room was worth $4500 more, not worth it to us. We have cruised 9 times and always had 2 rooms so this will be the first time in one room together. I think we will be okay from hearing other people who have actually had 3-4 people in a cabin. Not the most comfortable, but doable.

I am black and wanted advice about different hair styles to wear on a 7 day carrib cruise. I will be getting in the water almost everyday so I know wearing my hair out natural wouldnt work.
Any other advice and hairstyles plz?
I usually get a curly weave sew-in that I can wet and go.

Okay it sounds like we will not be comfortable, but considering the limited amount of time we will be in the room, we should be okay. But I probably will never book a single room for all of us again. I appreciate everyone's feedback

Our upcoming cruise will be the first time that our family of 4 will share a stateroom. The teenagers will sleep on the beds that pull down from the ceiling. My teenage son is 6'0. Are we going to be miserable all piled up in the room?
