  1. Hi. Does anyone know how long it takes to transfer a Cruisenext certificate from one person to another? Does the seller need to call NCL to do it or can it be done online?  Does it then show up immediately in the buyers latitudes account? Thank you

  3. I am booked on Pride of America in a suite that sails in 2 weeks. I booked my mom yesterday. I tried to add her to my suite but NCL said they could not add her to my suite due to already at maximum lifeboat capacity and only had an inside guaranty so I booked that. Ship is now sold out. My mom is elderly and 50% deaf so she will be with me all day and just sleep in her cabin and may even stay in mine. We like to eat breakfast in the restaurant designated for suites. I was told by NCL that she can eat with us for a few ,which is fine. Has anyone done this before?.  I just want make sure I know ahead of time that this should not be an issue.

    Thank You

I just won a bid for an H7 forward facing penthouse from a balcony for $1250 x 2, so $2500 total. This is for 7 days on the Breakaway out of New Orleans. I've bid a few times under $1000 and never gotten it but often all the Havens are sold out so no one wins the upgrade, I'm not even sure if anyone won those times.

That’s great! Thanks for your response!

  5. Hi- Has anyone been upgraded from balcony to haven. I wasn’t sure if they offer haven upgrade from a balcony. I am booked in the haven but my mother in law is booked in balcony and hoping to try bidding on upgrade to haven if she is offered to bid. We will be on the getaway. Just wanting to hear anyone’s  experience with this.

    thanks

  6. My sister is booked in a mini suite and her cruise shows lots of haven rooms still available. She’s 100 days from cruise. She is going on Breakaway.  I’ve always booked haven upfront so never bid on an upgrade. What has everyone’s experience been bidding on an upgrade from mini suite to haven. What does the minimum bid usually start at for minisuite to cheapest haven room. We looked at what the full price cost would be and it would be an extra $3800 to go from mini to haven. Being that there are so many havens available she’s hoping to take her chances on bidding. Thanks!

I had to work with someone from NCL to make it happen - it wasn't a simple thing and I will tell you that checking in that day as a mess b/c they didn't have the correct room keys set (though they had said it would all be smooth) and my daughter and I were held back from almost an hour after the rest of the family boarded. For us it was so important bc if we were not all "in" the Haven room, we couldn't all eat in the Haven for breakfast and lunch and dinner if we chose to, and also couldn't hang out in the haven. If that hadn't been the case, I would have just moved without issue. At the time, there were no cancel fees for 3/4t passenger - and i dont think it would technically be a "cancel" anyway - just a change. I would call asap to see what they can do for you, esp given the muster station concern.

Thank you. I am calling NCL now.

I had to do this once - had a haven 2 br but decided that 6 (grandparent, us and kids) could not fit comfortably. So I booked a mini suite for my daughter (minor) and I. I wanted to be able to keep haven perks so I remained in the haven and also was a primary in the second cabin since you cant put a minor alone (the reason why i also couldn't put my son in there with her). I had to pay for the mini but I was at a reduced rate in the haven. They charged me port charges on both cabins in the end despite that they had previously told me that they could only charge Port once b/c it's per PERSON and I'm only one person. It was worth it in the end, I think.

I am thinking of doing the same thing. We are booked in family suite in the Dawn- 4 of us. I wanted the 2 Br but it was sold out. I was thinking of getting an inside room  for my mom on same deck as the suite. She is already booked in the suite with us and I have made final payment. I am not looking for a refund.  I want to keep her in the suite to get the perks but want to get a room for her to sleep in and which has another bathroom. She’s partially deaf so I want her to be able to report to same muster station as me and check in with me as well. If she’s booked in 2 rooms, will the crew know that when it comes to checking in, and muster station. If she comes with us, will they be looking for her at the other muster station for the inside room?

    thank you

  9. Is there any time of year when weather is decent and there is less chance of schedule changes?

We were on this cruise at the end of May 2018 and we had sunny, beautiful, warm weather for the entire trip. I believe June and July are probably the best months to cruise here.

We had been to the Baltic on a cruise 10 years ago in mid August and it rained most of the time and was cold.
