  1. We were a few years before we found a travel agent that we have been happy with for over 25 years.

We asked friends and co-workers who they used. A co-worker suggested the TA we are using.

Hope you find someone that will be of assistance to you.

I second this approach. The woman who works at my optometrist's office referred me to her travel agent that she uses to book all her cruises and she has been awesome. I'll take a referral from a friend, co-worker, acquaintance, etc. any day rather than picking a name from an online directory. Just start asking around the office (or your next eye doctor appointment ;-)) and you'll likely get a few options to try out. Good luck!

  2. The both a power strip (make sure it is in good shape ) and a bungee cord.

You can hook the bungee on your balcony door to keep it open. Nice to lay in bed and hear the ocean. But note the AC will turn off but still nice.

Have a great time and allow yourself to be spoiled.

Bungee cord for the door is GENIUS! We have windows open at home all the time because I love the fresh air & it sounds heavenly to have the fresh air out on the ocean!

  3. Just returned from there. We used a different company and just did snorkeling. I think if you enjoy snorkeling you will want to spend as much time doing it in Roatan as you can because it is unsurpassed. We used a company that I have nothing but great things to say about... Glad to provide info if you want it.

I would also love this information.

  4. I'm glad you asked the question though cruisin_gatorgirl, because I am considering doing the same thing for my honeymoon cruise in December! I don't think I'll be able to since we're going on a 7-day cruise, and flying out to TX the day before :(. Oh well, guess I'll just have to buy a fancy new dress :D
