We just recently sailed on Allure with 16 people. We called and made reservations for around 630 most nights before the cruise. When we boarded, there was a vm on our phone saying we needed to come to the dining room first thing because they could not accommodate us at the times we requested. Apparently, they only do large parties earlier or later in the evenings (at least that's what they told us). So we ended up having dinner at 6pm every night (not a big deal for us because we had a lot of small children). We had a table of 10 and 6 next to each other, and near the window. We had the same wait staff every night also, which was nice. I would at least call prior and make a reservation for each night, then change the times if needed when you get on board. There might be a bunch of larger parties and you may not be able to get a reservation that easily if you wait till you board. Make sure when you call you have all the reservation numbers.

So you paid $158 for a transfer to FLL. WOW. They really should include a burger for that.
We did get a water taxi ride also, but still not worth it in my opinion.
We had originally signed up for the Wildlife rescue and botanical gardens excursion, but it was canceled the night before because of lack of participation and the Everglades one was full, so that's how we ended up on this one.

There were 2 or 3 18+ dance parties with dj in the solarium from about 10-230am and then they had the 18+ parties at Blaze the other nights. Seemed like the solarium parties were a little more happening.

Was lunch included in the $79 or did you pay on your own?
Lunch is not included.

Totally agree on the ripoff part. I thought we'd have access to a lot more too. I didn't think the tour was worth it. My husband was fine with it, but I felt it was too expensive for what you got.

I figured I'd post some info because I couldn't find any info before we did it. We had a late flight out after our cruise and decided to do an excursion. We paid $79 per adult. The bus was very late picking us up (we were the second pickup at Allure), they said because at another terminal the people had to drag their stuff a long way. Then we made one more stop to pick up more people. Then the bus took us to the water taxi stand where we boarded the water taxi. You can do this on your own without the tour for $26. It was about a 45 minute ride on the water taxi which was nice and the captain did some good narrating about the area and the port and saw a manatee in the water. Then they dropped us at Margaritaville at about 11am. I mistakenly thought we'd be able to use the pool. You get no special access to Margaritaville.
We had lunch at Margaritaville and then just walked the boardwalk and swam in the ocean before we had to be back at the bus at Margaritaville at 120pm. You need to bring your own towel if you plan to swim. They had towels on sale at the Wings store next to the Margaritaville for $4. Would be nice if RCCL lent some towels for the tour and then the tour person collected them and brought them back.
The area was very nice and was enjoyable to walk the boardwalk and swim. They had chairs for rent on the beach and beach was very nice and not too crowded. It was good to leave most of our stuff on the bus and not have to worry about it, but I wish we had more time to spend there.
The woman who ran the tour was a bit eccentric, she seemed knowledgeable, but the delivery was different. We arrived at the FLL airport at around 2pm and then they were taking the rest of the people to Miami airport.

My sister did the safari today. Both her and her husband were able to get into the arawak water park with the kids since they signed up for the safari with the kids. The adult tickets were $0 when they signed up. They said the actual safari wasn't that fun, but they enjoyed the water park. The tickets they got for the water park were at noon and all the safari people went into the water park at the same time. They had to get back on the boat an hour early for the party and Poppy and Branch only stayed for about 30 minutes. Maybe slightly less time. Some people showed up at 430ish and missed them. They got this at the party to take home. https://www.amazon.com/Dreamworks-Trolls-Activity-Coloring-Bundle/dp/B01MG8CYQT

On Allure this week and they had a Trolls meet and greet the first sea day at 430.

We are going to be aboard the Freedom OTS and make a stop in Labadee. The excursion description does say help King Julien and the DreamWorks Trolls find their friends, and 4 dreamworks characters. It is not specific as to which 4 characters are going to be there. It would be great if anyone been on Freedom OTS (or any other similar class ships) that went to that excursion can confirm if the Trolls characters are actually part of the excursion.
From what I read on the Labadee excursion board, you don't see any characters until you get back on the ship. The characters they refer to finding are the statues on Labadee. There's a trolls dance party back onboard after and they have live characters there.

I got in touch with someone from corporate after calling a bunch of different numbers, and they said the same as someone else, that it wasn't a true deal and that someone had opened it either by accident or without authorization.

Originally had just the deluxe package for $44/day. Just cancelled it and signed up for this since currently only $5/day more. Good deal

So were you able to do this just now? Because when I called they said it was over.

Same problem here, tried to add to cart, got error, tried calling and they wouldn't give it to me. Customer no service lately with RCCL. It's still showing up in my cruise planner right now, just can't add it to my cart. I should add 2 people in my roll call added it so it's (or was) available on our sailing.

Awesome! Thank you so much for all the info, it is very helpful!!!

My sister, niece and nephew are doing this the first week of March. It says it includes the aqua park, does anyone know if this is after the 3 hour tour time or during? We'd like to join in on the aqua park with them but aren't doing the photo safari so didn't know what time to book. Also, I'll report back after our cruise with some of the info asked here already.

I tried a search, but couldn't find anything. We're cruising in March on Royal Caribbean to Cozumel and have booked a snorkeling excursion leaving from the Fonatur Marina. Google maps says its only .7 miles away walking. Has anyone walked this? It looks like it might be a busy road? Everyone has suggested a taxi, including the tour operator, but we have a smaller child with us and their parents are reluctant to take a taxi without a car seat.

Great thanks!

Our travel agent booked us ocean balcony rooms in between the two bump outs on the Allure. Has anyone stayed in these rooms? Is your view obstructed much? Our rooms are about 3 down from the bump out. I tried a search and could only find people who stayed on the bump out.

Thanks everyone!

I sailed on the Allure this year and someone on the ship said they had connecting rooms, via the balcony. Can all rooms do this or only specified connecting rooms?
Also, if you have a connecting room within the room, can you lock from just one side if say you don't want the people coming in at certain hours? I'm planning a large family cruise and 2 of my siblings want connecting rooms, but one doesn't want the other coming in whenever they want.

The ice show? I don't know if it is other days also, but it was on day 3, sea day at 2pm this week.

So a few things I heard:
--The VOOM package is per gagdet. So I'm divided, because I dont know if I want to get it on the iPad Air or the iPhone 6. The iPhone is more accessible since its smaller.
From what I understand, when you buy the package, you can log off of one device and switch to another, just can't use them simultaneously. So you could use both with a single plan, just not at the same time.

We used a travel agent and I had no problems booking the dining reservations myself.
