Just repriced @ $55 pp/pn from $69 for our Empress July 2020 cruise. It pays to take a few minutes and check every so often. Hopefully some of you will benefit from the price drop as well!

Does Empress have one of these? If so, where is it located? It looks pretty neat.

Loved this review!!! You kept it real and entertaining. Good luck in your future literary endeavors!

You are only out some money if you change ship or sailing date.
No additional deposit needed to get a price drop.
Thanks! That's what I thought but wanted to be sure.

I have a NRD of $500 for each room - 2 rooms booked and I understand that if I cancelled both reservations I'd be out the $1k. My question is: would I be out that money if I called to re -price the reservations (keeping same rooms) due to savings from a sale? Would I be required to put down another deposit on the new price? I never had to before but then again I never noticed if we had a NRD. My hubby is asking me all these questions and got me bumfuzzled lol.

There is a 2nd overflow lot that we used before the parking deck was built.
That's good to know....thanks! I was starting to worry about this as the OP had some good points.

Thank you all for your answers.

I can understand why there isn't really any excursions showing since we are still 303 days out but I expected the drink packages to be open for purchase. Can anyone hazard a guess as to why I can't buy them now?

But how many othet ships prior.
Next year will have Oasis and Adventure, Summit from Celebrity as well as tiny Empress.
So May 17th 2020 could be interesting with Oasis passengers after earlier Adv and Summit as well as Empress that left May 11th.
Me wonders if May 18th will be tight for space when Empress comes back.
I guess I am saying that RCI hopefully has determined that Port Liberty has the infrastructures to support 4 ships all coming on different days. They already made X ships park in overflow.
I might regret this booking since I must park at the port
It may not be as bad as you think since you are going in May and schools are still in session.

I just would like for their website to say the capacity of all lots. One would think they have this info.
Also 2020 first summer for oasis which adds a LOT more folks locally who will drive.
I am worried that overflow will fill up day before from Oasis and if X parks too.
Can you get a ride to the port instead? We live about 1.5 hrs away and tossed around the idea of a car service but it's cheaper to drive ourselves.

On the subject of parking, what time should one arrive to have covered parking?
The garage parking may be full due to the other 3 ships passengers. We plan on getting to the port around 10-10:30.

So you think 4th ship wont cause a issue with overflow being filled?
I'm thinking it won't be but that's just my opinion. I was just talking to my hubby about it and he thinks it won't be a problem as the outside lot is tremendous.

There were 3 - Anthem, Adventure and Celebrity. We got lucky and found a spot in the garage in June and in July was when we parked outside. We plan on parking there,at the port, again when we sail Empress in July 2020.
-
Last year we had to park in the outside lot right next to terminal and we didn't have any issues.
-
Parking shouldn't be a problem as the people disembarking will free up spots.
-
Maybe Google your ship's cabin, you might find a picture/video of it.
-
Maybe give customer service a call, you never know they may be able to help.
-
Oops sorry meant starboard side .....got my left and right mixed up.
-
Yes there are umbrellas and chairs for rent at Horseshoe Beach but I forgot how much they actually cost.
-
I've lucked out twice on being on the port side while we were docked in Bermuda facing the gorgeous scenery.
-
I have to say thank you to the OP because I just called and saved myself 1500 bucks on my cruise. I haven't checked for new prices in a couple of days but did it as soon as I read this post. thanks again!!

Fantastic review!! We're booked on her in July in the Haven two-bedroom Suite as well.

Lucky you didn't get caught, because Celebrity's casinos are non-smoking.
Smoking is not permitted in any dining venue, casino, theater, lounge, hallway, elevator, or corridor. Celebrity Cruises' Smoking Policy includes smoking-like products such as electronic cigarettes. Smoking is not permitted inside any stateroom, nor on any stateroom veranda.
I wasn't sneaking as I saw other people lighting up and they had ashtrays.

We have cruised on NCL, Celebrity and RCI. NCL allows smoking in the casino, which we didn't care for. Because of that we avoided the casino totally.
Celebrity doesn't allow smoking in their casino.
I, along with others, did actually smoke in the casino on the Celebrity Summit this past June. Unless the policy has changed in the past five months, your statement is invalid.
