  1. We will travel by train to Ravenna a day prior to sailing. Does anyone have a recommendation for a hotel in Ravenna.
I have seen a few that will work but would be nice to have a personal rec. A dinner spot suggestions would be great as well.

    Thanks

  2. I am sure this info is somewhere, but I cannot find it with the search and am needing a quick answer. Cabin question on Pursuit. I have read that cabin 6005, furthest cabin forward ocean view is larger as it actually takes in the balcony space. Can anyone confirm this?  Also, would cabins 7006/7007 - on deck above, same location- furthest forward ocean view, be larger as well than the normal OV? Need to make payment today and if they are not larger we may go a bit more midship.

    thanks so much,

  3. Can anyone tell me if you can exit at the aft end of the Riviera deck to go out to the Terrace Pool area? We have been on Aloha deck and could exit and go up a flight of stairs and be at the terrace pool bar area. Just curious as it is hard to tell from the deck plan. I see a door at the far end, however, it may be an emergency exit only.

    TIA

  4. I am reading conflicting information about the Unlimited Beverage Package when departing from Houston- or more specifically - Texas ports.

Has anyone been on Emerald recently with the drink package? If so, is the package valid from the moment you get on board? I have read where someone mentioned it was not valid till you were a certain number of miles out. I know there are certain beers and/or liquor that are not available till you were a certain distance out, however, I would think the drink package would be good towards the drinks that are allowed once on board.

    Thanks for any input~

  5. So nice to read some positive remarks:)

Hoping you can answer a few questions as we have not cruised in about 7 years.

Were the public areas extremely cold in temperature? I know our first several cruises I was always so cold in dining rooms and showrooms. It seems the last few cruises I didn't notice it being so cold.

Were the adult only pool areas monitored to keep children out?

    Thanks so much~

  6. Your info is really making me want to change my beach club choice:)

Have you by chance been to Chankaanab? We have always loved going there and snorkeling on our own. However, does not appear it will be open so we were planning on Paradise Beach, which is what we did last cruise. There is really no snorkeling at PB, unless you pay the 35.00 and take their tour which is new since we were there last.

Is there good snorkeling right in front of Playa Uvas? If you have visited Chankaanab(sp?) could you compare for us?

We are doing a snorkeling boat tour in Cayman so was hoping to do a little more of the beach scene without the snorkeling tour cost.

    Thanks,
