  1. I noticed a deterioration in the variety and quality of food to 3 years ago, the speed of service was good. Very disappointed with the wine and lager on the all inclusive option which we had as part of our early booking, poor quality Spanish wine and Fosters lager, in fact in future, I will leave my booking to a later date as I would prefer to give the all inclusive a miss.

The show teams were good, as were the guest comedians.

The crew and staff, were as good as ever, but just felt short money saving cuts were being made, we stayed in cabin 6058, which needs a bit of a refurbish. The cabin was kept clean and the bed comfortable.

The second week there was an outbreak of the dreaded virus. The staff dealt with the outbreak really well, we were not allowed to serve ourselves from the buffet or urns for the last 5 days.

Not sure I would go on the Dream again, but will probably try the Discovery.

This was our tenth cruise with Thomson.

    Hope the above helps.

I was just wondering- I read your post about the Thompson Dream. Thinking of going on this cruise sometime in the future. When you say there was an outbreak of the dreaded virus, how many people were affected? I would rather know before booking if it's a regular occurance or if it was just a one off.

    thanks.
