Hi everyone. We are travelling with my parents on Explorer of the Seas on 30th June. I have found Era helicopters that can take us all including my Dad who is in a wheelchair to the Taku glacier whilst we are in Juneau.
Seeing as it's not an official RCI shoretour will they help me find transport to the airport where the helicopters leave from or can anybody suggest a company. He can transfer to a car seat but his wheelchair will need to be taken as well.
From what I have read the wheelchair accessible taxis are not reliable and I would hate to miss our flight.
Also does anybody have any knowledge of how long it takes to disembark in Juneau. Trying to work out the best flight time for our tour.
