do they not sell mimosas in the buffet during breakfast and if so have upgraded champagne for PPB card holders? If not can you go to the dining room for breakfast and order a glass of oj and a glass of the best champagne and mix your own?

What bars have the "good" champagne for the sail away? Can you ask for it with your morning mimosa? Looking forward to Ron Z 23 in the rum drinks and just straight on the rocks with a cigar.

We have a package with a meal each in the Pinnacle and in the Tamarind restaurant. I made the Pinnacle reservations but would rather not do the Tamarind. Can they be swapped or does it just go by the wayside?

Same thing happened to me and I did it two days apart. Both boxes arrived a day apart and await nest Friday's test. I suppose since you establish 2 separate accounts with them preceding the test it really doesn't matter.
Good Luck;

The available dates of 12/31 and 1/1 should have rolled over yesterday and today but none are available. Looking at this week, they aren't doing any on 12/24 or 12/25 either, so no holidays apparently. We ordered at home tests as back up for our 1/2/22 cruise and just spent over an hour on hold for E-Med call to verify hours. They are 24/7 including weekends and holidays. You would think they would have that on the website so calls such as this are avoided. I read test kits are getting in short supply so better order quick if you need them for these holiday cruises.

I agree and I disagree.
I just redeemed 180,000 or so points against a 4500 cruise charge I made last week. So you are right, much better.
Had I made a deposit and several payments along the way however, they each would have been separate redemptions, I believe. That would be worse than previous plan which would look at the whole cruise charge for a free cruise credit.
If that is true, which I believe it is, they are encouraging, and rewarding, paying for the cruise in advance, in total.

PS: I am pleased! Paid for without actually paying for it.

Just to clarify, the SBP is $51.69/person/DAY. For a 7 day cruise the total would be $361.83.
There are times I feel like such an idiot and this is one of them. I never did the math and since the description of the SBP said the gratuity would be added I just figured the price was before the tip. On the plus side, I am an idiot with $109 more dollars than I thought I would have.:)
Thanks for your help.

I ordered two packages yesterday for an upcoming cruise and the 15% gratuity was NOT added to my order total or to the total on the confirmation e-mail.
Overlooked or is the charge coming at a later time?

I am trying to decide if I want to upgrade from a regular balcony to either the aft balcony on deck 9 or a mini-suite on deck 11. I like the convenience of the suite on 11 but am concerned about possibility of noise from the aerobics room on the one side or the salon on the other side.
I have been on one aft balcony and really liked it.
Pricing looks similar although they are both around $800 for the two of us which is a bit pricey but ....
Thoughts?

The Aerobics area is right next to this suite. I suspect it doesn't get much use except during the day but I certainly could be wrong. Are other activities done there at night (like ping pong)? Does much noise bleed through?
Is anyone familiar with this cabin?
Thanks in advance;

Carnival Tropical in 1994 out of Tampa. The ship should have been scuttled 10 years before our cruise but not knowing any better we had a great time.
The next time was Holland on an Alaska cruise. Completely blown away by the comparison. Hooked forever on Holland and newer ships after that.

Yes. The first night of our recent cruise on the Pearl I asked for a bottle of wine on the PP list and was told it was not in stock. Asked for another bottle on the list and it too was not in stock. Gave up and asked for the veuve clicquot. The upside of this story was we got hooked on the champagne and had it with every dinner. You can no longer order the bottle but as the waiter said," you can stay here ordering glass by glass all night if you want to."
Another PP observation is that not all bars stock all things. For instance the pool bar didn't have 23 year old Ron Z but Top Siders did. Top shelf items were not universally available but the bars that did have them were very popular.
At retail, that champagne is right at $50 a bottle. Considering we drank 7 bottles of it plus the other premium drinks during the day we do think the package is worth it. Next time I believe I will go to guest services and raise a stink if they don't stock the pool bar with better rum.
