What is customary for tipping on excursions not affiliated with our cruise ship? We have a day long catamaran excursion and I'm not sure what is appropriate. Also, do we tip the captain for the whole crew or tip individually? Is it rude to tip in American dollars?

I'm going on a cruise next month as a sort of honeymoon we never took. I'm looking for ideas for romantic things to do. I read about flowers and room service and we have a dinner reservation in a special restaurant, but what else have you done that added a romantic spark to your cruise?

I'm considering buying a travel wallet that you hang from your neck. It recommends wearing it under your shirt, but that will be very obvious. Do any of you do anything special or just carry a regular wallet like you normally would. I know you have to be cautious of pickpockets...

I'm planning to take a laptop, DSLR camera, and tablet on my upcoming cruise. I'm concerned about putting them in my bags because I don't want to risk them being damaged it stolen. The alternative is to have them in carry on bags. If I do that, how long will I have to carry them around before I can get into my cabin to drop them off? I'm don't want to have to carry them around to the windjammer or to the pool... What have you guys done with these type of items?

RCI has a discount if you buy internet for two devices. If we get that can we switch among devices so long as we are only using two at a time? For example, two phones, then laptop and iPad, etc.

How quick is disembarkation in Barbados? I'm interested in a non-cruise excursion but it has pick up at 8:15am and we aren't scheduled to get there until 8. Is that possible or unrealistic?

Our cruise is stopping in Fredriksted for the day on Sunday, February 14th. We've rented a car and plan to drive out to Sandy Point since the beach will be open and I've heard it is pristine. Since it is Valentine's Day, I'd love to pick up some things to take as a picnic lunch. Can anyone recommend a grocer or deli in Fredriksted where I could grab some food and/or a bottle of wine? Has any one done the half day sail and beach excursion through Royal Caribbean? It mentions sailing to Sandy Point Natl Wildlife Refuge and then sailing to Rainbow Beach. I'm trying to figure out if it stops at Sandy Point or just sails past and points it out. I've heard that Sandy Point is the best beach around and I'd hate to sail past and not even get to stop.

I have been told to pre-book My Time Dining now for my Feb 13 cruise. If I do kick in times, can I change them later ? Is there a fee for changes or a restriction once you're onboard? I have ideas but also Don't want to be locked in as I may want to eat sooner or later depending on what we do in port.

We're staying at the Condado Hilton and arriving one day before our cruise departs. Can you recommend some restaurants nearby? Walking distance or a short cab ride is ideal. One of us is vegetarian, but the other is not, so a restaurant with options for both is preferred.
