  1. My husband and I are regretting not getting more pictures from the Carnival wedding. Clearly the cruise is over and we are home now. Does anyone know if it is at all possible to still order photos. I believe with normal cruisers the pictures are all deleted and gone forever... I'm praying for a miracle that isn't the case with wedding pictures. Does anyone know? We still have the "business card" from our photographer, but have no clue how to contact her off the boat.

  2. I have 14 days till set sail on Carnival Victory for our embarkment day wedding! I feel like I'm totally unprepared, but I can't be the only bride that feels that way right? We have 48 guest (including us) and 36 of them are sailing. We are so humbled that so many people are making the financial sacrifice for people to take off work and travel out of town in the middle of the week I wanted to have a great wedding favor to show our appreciation. I cut the budget everywhere I could (including ordering a wedding dress from china which totally had it's highs and lows), and was able to afford 30oz Yeti tumblers with an anchor and our wedding date for all of the guest.... Now I'm trying to figure out how the heck I get that many on the boat!! Anyone have any tips? Maybe a wheely cart thing? Maybe a suitcase with just those that wheels? If I did either one of those could one of my non-sailing guest take the wheely thing back off the boat so I don't have it in my room all week? Any advise would be great! Also should I still do little over the night bags for each of the sailing rooms?

  3. How exciting for one week left! I'm less that 2 months out and on Victory so I'm super excited to hear how awesome it all goes!!!

I have a question about the wedding day! What do you bring your dress in? I know we have to see everyone but I'm thinking of wearing a big pair of sunglasses to "hide" my eyes at least till the wedding lol. Anyone else doing anything to try to half way keep the tradition of not seeing the bride before the wedding?

Also, While waiting to get on the ship do they provide drinks or coffee? If not I might assign someone to bring that while we wait. If that's even an option. My guest already seem bummed they have to arrive early just to wait so I'm trying to think of ways to keep everyone happy.

Any tips or ideas would be great! ;-)

  4. We are getting married May 5, 2016 on the Carnival Victory from Pt Canaveral. We are so excited! This will be both of our second marriage and we both have kids already. We thought having a wedding cruise would be a lot of fun for our kids to know they are part of this too! I'm thinking of calling it our "family"moon lol.

I just booked last month (The Celebrate Big package and the DJ). I think I am planning this faster than most of you. Save the Dates will go out this week and I'll finish up passport invites to go out in January. Our parents and siblings have all already booked cabins, so everyone else that might attend will just be an added bonus :-)

Right now my biggest question is about hair and makeup. I was given the name of someone in Orlando that has great reviews, but I'm not planning on taking a 7 hour trip to Orlando for a "test run." Is anyone else concerned about this?

These boards have been SO helpful! I think I'm becoming addicted to them :-)
