I love to bring big books on a cruise that I might not be able to tackle at other times. With 2 days at sea each way I am bringing: the latest "Harry Potter" and "1776" by David McCullough.

For any American Revolution fans, some other good reads are those by Jeff Shaara "Rise to Rebellion" and "the Glorious Cause." I was actually in tears reading George Washington's farewell at Fraunces Tavern!

I will have to check these out too! I am still engrossed in John Adams by David McCullough.
