  1. Along the lines of this question...

I know that the casino comps do not  typically allow you to upgrade to a GTY room, but it seems like the inventory is different for the annual prime cruise.  I want to add my kids to the room, but the cost for a "choose your own room" for 4 is astronomical on our preferred sailing.  Can a GTY room be booked for the annual cruise?

  2. It seems like everyone and their brother has Club Royale Prime status or above.  Is there any estimate anywhere of the number of people that have this status?  This is my first year earning Prime and I'm anxious to receive the April interior cruise offer.  I'm hoping to use that offer on a June cruise, so very short time frame and limited rooms left available.  I wonder how many people will be trying to book offers all at the same time and how likely it is to get what I'm hoping for.  Any thoughts/advice for someone new to this?

  3. We are scheduled the second week of sailing on Freedom and have kids and teens that will not be vaccinated.  Has there been any information released that I have missed about what ship activities will be off-limits?  I'm assuming all the kids club stuff will be normal because that group will primarily be unvaccinated, but what about teen activities and comedy shows, trivia, games, etc?

This is not intended to be a debate regarding vaccination status or requirements.  I'm simply trying to determine how much of the evening entertainment activities will be available for our older kids and teens who are unvaccinated before the July 2 sailing returns to hopefully avoid making a very last minute decision about sailing or canceling.  The evening entertainment and the promenade area is a large part of what we enjoy about cruising.

    Thanks in advance!

  4. My sister and I are taking kids, so we booked the cheapest inside connecting rooms we could get.  The website says no Lift & Shift available, but when I called, they did say they could offer us a 4 night on the Indy in place of the 5 night with Lift and Shift, but only for August or September 2021, not July (the 4 weeks window before our 2020 cruise date) so the price is a little cheaper anyways on the 4 day they are offering compared to the 5 day we have booked....

  5. Sorry if this has been asked...haven’t been able to find any details.

We were thrilled with our ship/itinerary - 5 days on Independence August 17-22 stopping at cococay and labadee.  There are very few 5 day itineraries next summer and zero that go to cococay.  Will we be able to Lift & Shift, or are we out of luck?  Any idea what options will be available?  Of course can’t get through anywhere yet to ask...

    thanks in advance!!

  6. Looking for advice on which order to do these excursions on our first Alaskan cruise. We will be on the Northbound Coral Princess that stops at Juneau on July 11. Our port time is 8 am - 9 pm. We want to do a lot of hiking at Mendenhall Glacier. Probably the West Mendenhall Trail to the Ice Cave Trail and possibly the Nugget Creek Trail as well. We are young and in good shape and we probably will complete these hikes in much less time than it's quoted to take. Our Harv and Marv whale watch options are either 11:30 (which we we would go to the glacier afterwards) or start early in the morning at the glacier and then go to the 2:30 whale watch. Is there a better option? Whale watching first seems to lead more time to hiking, but we're coming from the East and will probably be up pretty early each day, so I think hiking may be less crowded if we do that right away.

Secondly, what are our options for lunch? Can we buy boxed lunches or sandwiches at Harv and Marv's, or is there a place a taxi could stop off so we could grab some food in between excursions?

    Thanks in advance.

  7. As far as I know, you can only do that on the Royal and the Regal. I wish they'd roll it out fleet wide; we have several unused coffee cards that we'd use up on gelato.

Thank you very much for the reply. We're on the Coral this summer. Bummer.

Thanks so much for the reply. Bummer of an answer, but I appreciate the response. We'll be on the Coral this summer.
