You need to bring it in your carry on when you first board, so not in a "checked" bag....... or yes when returning from port you can just bring it in a Walmart bag. Walmart Shuttles in some Alaska ports

Yep, how very nice! I got the email and called Ship's Services and made a reservation for Easter Brunch at the Pinnacle, they have times available for reservations from 10am - 1pm. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out, a nice touch for the holiday. Yes, I am on Nieuw Amsterdam for Easter.

Just off Koningsdam, after the first couple of nights they recognize you as a "regular" and of course track your spending and play, I simply asked for a drink each night from the floor supervisor, easy peasy. You did have to ask though. Even for less frequent players, they are unlikely to say no to an occasional request.

The Pinnacle lunch, sounds very popular - are you able to book a reservation for it once onboard or is lunch walk up only?

I was shopping for a hotel for Dec 2017 and got a great rate at the Marina $143 direct through Hilton.com.......lowest I could find. Glad to hear that others liked it.

Thanks for this great info, I will be on the same cruise next year, my first on HAL. So if one gets the beverage package it would include coffee drinks like espresso, latte, etc. Can u confirm, that would be awesome.
