Swampbabe - Thanks for the reply. I booked a private tour with Marvyn's Paradise Tours on Ocho Rios and had a great time and was very satisfied. I agree I will always do a lot of research and probably book tours with a private tour group.

Yes, I have traveled to the Caribbean and Hawaii many times although I have never done a jeep tour. The other jeeps I saw on Cozumel were much newer and had a top.

The other bars had good service.

My point was that I wanted to make others aware of my experience so they didn't make the same mistake with shore exercursions as I did. Maybe I'm a resort girl. I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone.

First time cruiser review of our cruise on the Celebrity Reflection on March 26, 2016. My husband and I took our 18 year old daughter with us to celebrate her upcoming graduation from high school. We have traveled many places but have never cruised before we were disappointed with Celebrity.

The ship is very nice and our room 7264 with a balcony was a very nice as well. I would like to say our room attendant did a great job along with our MDR waiter of Jose and his wait staff. I felt the food in the buffet was poor along with the beverage service. My husband and I purchased the premium beverage package and our daughter had the soda package. The staff in the buffet Ocean View Café seemed to be overwhelmed and no one ever took our drink orders. We had to go to the bar ourselves which isn't a problem but the bar was overwhelmed too. This was disappointing as the premium beverage package is not a cheap add on. The MDR food was ok but nothing to write home about. We did not try the pay per night restaurants.

We were very disappointed in the Shore Excursions desk, especially Mario. We booked a tour in Cozumel for a jeep tour that included snorkeling. When we arrived to our location we were greeted by a jeep that wouldn't start with seat belts that didn't work. They brought us another jeep that was very junky with no review mirror and NO top. I have not been in the sun in 6 months because I live in Ohio. I was sick from the sun as it was 90 degrees and the tour was over 4 hours. The next day I went to Mario and explained our situation and he was rude and told me I should have known there wouldn't be a top. I showed him in the ships excursion material that no where did it say a topless Jeep. He offered us 20% back and was extremely rude. I did not feel well for 3 days from the heat.

On Friday we went to the Shore Excursion desk and again were treated rudely by Mario as my husband asked if our 18 year old daughter would be able to drive the jet ski on the private island of Coco Cay. We did rent the jet ski with my daughter as the driver and my husband as the passenger. We had the last rental of the day at the island. Fortunately my husband is an experienced jet ski driver because the tour went at full throttle and the jet ski was airborne the entire trip. My daughter had to stop and let my husband drive because as a first time jet ski driver she was uncomfortable that she would lose control and my husband could not hang onto her as they would have both have fallen off. We didn't even try to speak to Mario about this so I went to Guest relations and was told that's what a jet ski tour is.

I'm very disappointed with Celebrity's ability to resolve problems. I would like to cruise again but I highly doubt it will be with Celebrity.

Are lockers available on Cococay to put valuables?

We are first time cruisers on Celebrity Reflection departing Miami on March 26, 2016. Our last stop is Cococay. We have purchased the full beverage package. Will food and our drinks be included or will we need to purchase these on the island?

Any information about the Hilton Miami Airport? We are flying into Miami late on Friday, March 25. Our cruise on Celebrity Reflection leaves Saturday, March 26. When we return from our cruise on Saturday, April 2 we were thinking of staying at the Hilton Miami Airport again as our flight leaves early on Sunday, April 3. On Saturday we were thinking of Ubering into Miami. We will be traveling with our teen daughter. Any other thoughts of ideas or way to stay are greatly appreciated.

Anyone have any information about staying at the Hilton Miami Airport hotel? We are flying into Miami late on Friday, March 25th and will depart for our cruise on Celebrity Reflection on Saturday, March 26th. When we return from our cruise on Saturday, April 2 we were planning to stay there again as we fly out early on Sunday, April 3. We are traveling with our teen daughter and thought that we might Uber into Miami on Saturday, April 2. Any info on this hotel or where else might be good to stay is greatly appreciated.

We are on the Celebrity Reflection leaving Miami, day at sea, Cozumel, Georgetown-Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios, day at sea, Cococay and then back to Miami.

We are on our first cruise with our high school daughter on Celebrity over spring break. Is it best to make excursion plans at every port? If we book an excursion will we still have time to do some shopping? Does everyone leave the ship when it docks or do you have a late breakfast? So many questions as we would like to get the most of our cruise without being overbooked. Our daughter would like to see each island and shop as well. Help is greatly appreciated.
