Hello all.
And they have sommeliers in the dining room - so table has a waiter, assistant waiter and a sommelier.
Drinks are way more expensive, and a greater variety I think.
That's it for now. More tomorrow.
I have been on the Equinox and the Grand and was happy with both. I will say that having an extra person waiting the table helps with the flow of dinner. The sommelier not only helped us pick a wine to go with dinner, but also took our predinner cocktail orders, something that the assistant waiter had to do on the Grand. Sometimes we wouldn't get our drink until well into our appetizers. So for that I really liked how the Equinox ran their dining room.

Thanks! We are on the Grand, and I don't think we have that option of getting off, which is fine with me. So I guess, once you're through Tracy Arm, you are heading out to open sea?

So our upcoming itinerary says that we are doing Tracy Arm Fjord scenic cruising, 5 am to 10 am. Then the next day is a sea day. My question is, is the Tracy Arm day basically considered a sea day as well because we aren't docking or getting off the ship?
Can anyone give me any pointers for the day?
Thanks!

Ok, good to know. I read somewhere else in a post that they (cruise line) were counting the gratuity in, thus making it over $10. Passenger was trying to fix that, to no avail.
Just want to be prepared!

I have another question regarding the drink package. It says for drinks up to $10. If a drink is listed at 8.95 and they automatically add the gratuity of 15 or 18 percent, that pushes it over $10.
Does that drink now not qualify for being covered?

Thanks so much SKNIGHT, that's exactly the information I was looking for. Gives me something to make a decision with.
Happy cruising!

So, I've seen a lot of posts about beverage packages, but haven't seen my answers anywhere. Can anyone give me a range of price for a bottle of red wine? I realize there would be very high end, and something at the bottom, but what would be a range? Also, a range for cocktail prices? And what size is the water bottle covered in the drink package? and cost of the water?
Just trying to see if the package is worth it, but I have nothing to compare it to. Thanks!:)

I have a cruise booked in early December and I just spoke to Princess. She said they were going to get final reports by the 18th from the various ports and islands and make a decision early next week.
