Looking forward to your review! Going on the Ecstacy again in Jan 2020. Is the heating ok on the ship? We went 2 years ago and it was quite cold in the staterooms and dining room. I was told it was a temporary malfunction and has been fixed. Your feedback is appreciated.

Any chance you saved your "Fun Times?" I've usually had good luck finding things like that online - but since Ecstasy just moved from Miami - all I can find are old ones. Just let me know.[/quotes
I didn't save the Funtimes.

We were on the Esctacy Dec9-dec16 out of Charleston and there was no heat on the ship. Slept with multiple, blankets, 2 robes and towels around my legs the first 2 nights. Had to wear a fleece jacket in the main dining room every night. I wish that I had a hooded winter coat on the ship.

Port weather was ok. Ship Dining room never warmed up

I sailed on the Ecstacy from Charleston to the Bahamas on Dec 9th to Dec 16th. It was FREEZING on the ship....no heat in the staterooms. Very disappointed.

Lots of activity at the port today. coast guard was on the ship, lots of police and official cars, lifeboats getting tested, lots and lots of dumpsters!

Just back from the dock. Ship got here around 9:40pm Lots of news crews and helicopters. the Coast Guard boat escorted them into port.
People were out on their balconies cheering and waving their phones/flashlights. Couldn't see much damage in the dark. Did notice many of the balcony separators were broken on the front right side of the ship. I heard that the giraffe near the rock wall had a hole in it. Saw about 5 big trucks waiting with supplies. Happy everyone made it back to shore!

I went to the Bayonne port tonight and did not see any activity yet. No dumpsters....no extra trucks...nobody!!!

I drove by the terminal around noon and there wasn't a soul or a truck there. will check later.
The Bayonne dock does have facilities to fix large ships....not sure if it could handle a major fix on the Anthem. Presently, there is a big USN ship there getting fixed.

Where are the soda machines located on the ship? I'm a moderate soda drinker and don't know if it is worth it to keep going to one location for soda (as you do on Carnival ships) or if I should just buy a couple of bottles from the company store everyday.

How formal does a woman have to dress for the GRANDE? Can I get by with dress pants and a nice, dressy blouse?

Does anyone have any idea on when we will be able to purchase soda for the room on the Carnival website?
