I have been on the Allure and many other ships from other cruise lines. I'm sorry you are having such a bad time. The Allure to me was one of the finest ships on the seas today.

Check again no shorts even on causal night. Check with dining room rules. I've been cruising for 20 years. I've seen changes. But in the MDR it is still no shorts. Show me we're you have information that says different. Some people always show up in shorts they don't want to abide by the rules. Which is sad.

No Shorts for Dinner. Have a little respect for the rules that the cruise lines have. Just done't make up your own rules to see how far you can push them around . If you want to be casual eat on the Lido deck for Dinner.
