  1. It is on your tv on the rccl station. I learned this by happenstance after searching the stateroom for the book that used to have the menu. I asked our stateroom attendant and she was clueless. A few days into the cruise, I was perusing the rccl channel and the room service menu popped up. It is pretty limited but contains many of the things that used to be on it.

  2. I've sailed out of Bayonne twice; once on a New England cruise in July and the second time on an eleven day Southern Caribbean cruise in March. The seas were realtively calm for both. The worst seas we have ever encountered were on an Eastern Caribbean cruise out of Fort Lauderdale. Go figure. I don't think the port of departure is the determining factor. Mother Nature makes the decision. On our rough seas cruise, a friend we were travelling with had an extra patch and it saved me from a day in bed. I usually bring ginger capsules to be safe.

  3. will I have to sit through the Ice Capades again?"
    Ha ha. :D

It's been years since I've seen an Ice Capades show but the show on Liberty has a combination of very creative costumes, beautiful choreography and a pretty amazing juggling act thrown in for good measure. It only lasts an hour, so even if you don't like ice skating, I think you may be able to tolerate it.;)

  4. We just enjoyed a wonderful week on Liberty. Here's a few of our favorites from the cruise:

    • Fresh water in the pools and there are so many options for water fun. If you have little ones, the H20 zone is wonderful. The Solarium pool and cantilevered hot tubs are great for the adults.
    • The shows were excellent, especially the Ice Show and a show called Flying with the RCCL singers and dancers.
    • Our teenager had fun on the Flow Rider. It has limited hours that it is open, though. They are listed on the cruise compass.
    • We used the luggage valet program for our trip home and spent the day in Ft. Lauderdale. We took a cab to the Water Taxi (about $12 if you go to Pier 66). The all day pass is $13 per person. They do a great job of entertaining you and sharing tid bits about the multi million dollar homes that you pass. It was a fun day and a good way to kill time while waiting for a late flight.
    • The staff, as usual, gave excellent service and always with a smile and a kind word.

  5. We also just got our own taxi and went to Divi. We loved it there and even thought it would be a nice place to go for a week sometime. Taxi's are inexpensive and plentiful. When you tire of the beach, there will be taxis waiting in front of the hotel. If not, the hotel staff can call one for you. We were not asked to listen to a time share presentation. Although, there were a few beach vendors asking us if we wanted to look at their jewelry or get a henna tatoo. When we declined, they left us alone. Enjoy your cruise!
