  1. Like I explained in my original post my father-in-law wants to go on a cruise. Now what I didn't mention is he has copd and needs oxygen so his wife doesn't think that they could manage on the ship but I keep telling them that I see people with oxygen on the shops quite often. She also thinks that he wouldn't be able to enjoy himself onboard and I would love for them to experience a cruise ship for at least one day.

  2. Honestly I don't know why they all don't do it. You'd think it would be an easy way to make a little extra money. They could limit it to let's say the first 200 people or so depending on the size of the ship and charge like $20 each. For one it's usually not very crowded for the first few hours on the ships, two when the ships hold 4,000 people or more you wouldn't even notice an extra 200 people on board for a couple hours, and three you'd think that it would be a great way to get people interested in your line if they've never sailed with you before. I know my wife and I are always thinking of trying a new line but never do because we don't want to spend all the money on a vacation that might be a disappointment.

  3. Does anyone know what the visitor passes are and how to get them? We were on the Allure at the end of June and we noticed that there was a section for visitors and they also announced that all visitors had to leave right before the muster drill. My father in law really wants to go on a cruise but the mother in law is not sold on it. I was thinking since they are always down in coco Beach every February they could maybe take a look on board to see if they like it.

  4. I was torn on voting as we stayed in Cabin 9325 and I didn't think the noise coming from the boardwalk area was loud at all especially with the balcony door closed and locked with the exception of the last night we were aboard there was a group of about 15-20 kids sitting directly below our cabin on the boardwalk and were playing music on a Bluetooth speaker and were laughing and yelling but this was a one time deal and it didn't really bother us to bad. But...... This was an adjoining cabin to 9323 and I have never been in a cabin where I could hear EVERY conversation from the cabin next door. It was terrible and I was very unhappy with the amount of noise we heard from there cabin. I will NEVER stay in another adjoining room again unless we go with our children and even then I don't know if we will. It was unbelievably loud.

  5. I just wanted to let everyone know. That we just returned from a 7 day aboard allure an we had brought a power strip along like we had tlthe last 3 cruises we've been on but this time they confiscated our power strip until we left. When we left the cruise they had a table set up with all of the prohibited items they confiscated from other passengers. On the table there were a lot of power strips along with electric irons and steamers. This may be old news to you all but I along with many other passengers were unaware of this change.
