They do inform passengers of their visa needs by telling them where to go for such information. "this ain't rocket science to know and communicate what's required".
Their website -" It is your responsibility to identify and to obtain the necessary visas before beginning your cruise. Based on nationality, many countries still require an entry visa. Suggestions on where to get visa information:
-
U.S. citizens can visit the U.S. Department of State Foreign Entry Requirements
-
Canadian citizens can visit Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada
-
Embassies (Consular Service Office) of each country on your sailing itinerary
-
The visa service of your choice, such as Visa Central, for specific visa requirements, information, forms and fees that apply to your nationality
Visa Central Website
Toll-free telephone: 1-800-579-2406
email: celebrity@visacentral.com"
Pretty clear cut to me what I'd need in order to take such a trip. Took less than 5min to find what documents I'd need for such a trip.

Had similar happen with MSC cruiseline about five years ago. They called it performance cruise- ended up being just some bigwigs from the company basically seeing what worked an what didn't 1st hand instead of on paper. They had meetings an such in the theater during the day, other than that didn't notice any changes.

How sexist: Men = sleeves long or short Women = sleeveless is ok. Calling my lawyer (sarcasm)

Dumb question - If we purchase a beverage package online weeks in advance - do they attach a sticker like they do for those who buy it on board or is it physically printed on the card like the regular information?

How clearly can you hear the people in neighboring cabins talking through the walls?

Reading reports of St. Thomas still in rough shape just thinking: It might be better if more ships went to Havensight than Crown bay. More touristy stuff = more $$$ into the economy quicker.
Yes I know the companies have contracts for Crown bay but in my limited experience with port stops to the island fewer get off the ship while at Crown Bay. So having 1 ship in port seems dumb IMO to dock at Crown Bay regardless of contract.

Since Royal owns and operates Celebrity I don't see why they wouldn't mix passengers from multiple ships for excursions. Saves them from having to get one bus for each ship, especially if one ship almost sells out while the other has just a few people wanting to do the same excursion.

When is your cruise? have one booked an no offers for us :(

If we have a drink package can we use it in specialty dining?
-
Guessing it's a free tour or more would be complaining about it as being a sales pitch. Must be somewhat early on during the cruise too or heavy discounts to fill the restaurants - people would have bought the dinner packages already if they wanted one.

By any chance would you know if the Cocobay Resort is relatively close to the dock?
Google map - It's about 7miles away.

Wouldn't consider myself an introvert but have cruised 4 times solo. It is usually more fun being solo than when I go with friends/family, do what I want when I want. Also made more friends on the ships than I would when sailing with others. Went to the singles events the first two days an found some people to do things with but then had plenty of ME time.

Guest relations say they'll have laundry and housekeeping look for it, but don't find it, tell you that their manager is looking into it before you discover that procedure has not been followed and you have to chase them again.
What would you do, if anything?
How exactly do you know procedure has not been followed? What are you expecting to happen?
Depending on the value of the item would define what I'd do about it. Granted I personally don't cruise with anything of major value. The luggage is the most costly item we bring with us.

Friends are the same way - they got the premium NON alcoholic packages for the waters/coffee/soda and will just get the alcoholic drinks at cost each time.

Regardless of ship just Curious what you saw/did? Many of the different ships excursions seem to all be very vague in what is seen/done during the tours, one thing a majority have in common they don't mention any beach stops which is fine with me.
Asking here since on the St. Kitts and other ports boards always get people who don't grasp "accessible" issues.

Quick google picture search sure looks wheelchair friendly to me unless you have one of the more sporty low seat wheelchairs. Standard 19in high seat shouldn't have an issue.
-
So what exactly are considered the islands highlights if we don't go to a beach? What would we see?
-
Haven't seen a bible in any cabins I've been in, been awhile since I've seen one in our hotel rooms too.

When I look at what we paid Celebrity and what Ethiad shows, Ethiad is $1000 less than what we paid. Seems strange. What happened to the $1000 is what I would like to know.
Do you mean the price for Ethiad going directly through them and not choice air or the current price with choice air is now less?

One way to have cash in your on board account is to buy On Board Credit (OBC) through Gifts by Celebrity to load your account with dollars prior to starting your cruise. Anyone can do this although, if you are not in the US it is worth checking the exchange rate before purchasing. You buy OBC in blocks of $25 - it can be cheaper to us a credit card which often has the best exchange rate.
Sure but is it refundable if you don't use it all, putting down cash you'll get the unused portion back.

Tried calling a few other shuttles which couldn't be bothered with helping disabled passengers an suggested we call Super Shuttle. Their booking page actually has an option for those who are disabled so I'm guessing they handle wheelchairs/scooters regularly.
My questions: Has anyone done this with a wheelchair/scooter as a shared ride (shows as possible on their booking page)? How many were in the vehicle? Was it a van or a mini bus? Did the person have to stay in their chair/scooter or could they transfer to a real vehicle seat?

Checked ours as recently as 2015 after news stories came out about thefts at MIA. At JFK we've shown up to the baggage claim only to be told it's been brought to the office because we hadn't shown up quick enough.

Seems rather vague information which could be why you're getting a "push back" not to mention how few posts you've made and ALL seem to be post cruise sign of not much researching. Did you have written documentation something would be done for the birthday or just verbal told something would be done? The website clearly says they have a fee if you're using your ship card to get money for the casino = not their fault. Personally don't see why anytime dining is a bad thing. Just go the same time as fixed dining or slightly earlier if you want fixed time just not seated in the same area.
Personally believe the TA is more at fault than the cruise line for these issues. Any special things requested should be checked for confirmation on embarkation day as soon as possible.
