We’ve cruised many times, but, this is the first of the mega ships. Just wondering how do they handle embarkation dealing with that many cruisers? I have back problems & cant stand for long periods. We will be cruising on the Oasis on Sunday....we’re definitely ready for a relaxing week!

It’s been a while since we cruised on RCI. We got the offer today for the beverage packages that are available to purchase, which made us wonder what is included? Is there still lemonade & tea on Lido and the dining room? Thanks!

Thanks for that explanation! We haven’t cruised on RC for some time. Can you tell me if there’s a limit (time or number) of drinks per day on either the deluxe drink package or the soda package? We’re trying to figure if it’s worth it. Thanks!

Has anyone else experienced problems with Carnival's Fly2Fun? We have always thought that they take care of travel delays and make sure you have a hotel & fly you to the first port in case of your flight delay. Well, it's finally happened to us- Thursday we were notified our Friday flight to Ft Lauderdale via Atlanta was cancelled due to weather, they rebooked us into Ft Lauderdale via Dallas, then the tragedy in Ft Lauderdale cancelled that one and they decided it would be fine that we fly in to Miami via Dallas on Saturday, even though we resisted. Well, the flight out of Dallas was delayed and finally cancelled. We were told, if AA could get us to Miami, travel services would fly us to St Thomas to meet the Glory. Well, when we finally landed in Miami, no hotel was reserved & we were on the phone for over an hour repeating the situation to several people before they finally made a hotel reservation for us. A "lovely" hotel in the warehouse district with no soap or glasses provided....nice place.
Since it was after midnight that we finally got to the hotel, we were to call this morning to find out our reservations for St Thomas, only to find that they won't fly us out until tomorrow, we'll spend one night in St Thomas & catch the Glory on Tuesday. In the mean time we get to sit in a hotel not near anything in Miami. They will not fly us out today. Does not make for a great way to spend our anniversary! We just don't understand why not let us stay someplace we like for 2 nights instead of this place? And, yes, there are flights available today. Any thoughts?

Our first time on the Oasis too! We’re looking forward to exploring and using some of these tips. Question...is there a do-it -yourself laundry on board or do you know the price of the laundry service? We’re taking few days before and after and I hate to take enough clothes for 2 weeks! Thanks!
