No we have not rented a cabana there but the place in general, we did not care for their beach. Very rocky and about a 12" from off where we had rented chairs. I did read that the cabanas are not on the beach and they face diagonally.
Â
Not sure if that helped or not.

I have seen FTTF open up when it has said it's sold out. The other excursions, I have seen open up probably because I have not paid attention.
-
Very often it is longer than that. One crewmember might be handling entire station from making the pizza to serving it and line backs up quite a bit.
Â
I order my pizza then go get my drinks and sit down. They will let me know when it's ready. Not that big of deal but I agree it gets annoying night after night

We love the Pride. We have sailed on her 3 times. We are going again July 16th.
-
For those who have gotten these, how long do they normally take to arrive? I hate getting the physical gift cards when I buy them, I wish there was an option to have them emailed. Still a good deal!
Â
I have received mine within 7 days. They come USPS for 100.00 and FedEx for 500.00 if I remember correctly. Someone has to sign for the 500.00
-
At Verizon's website, 100 and 500 gift cards are still available. Run, don't walk🤗 Haha

This! We have been going back and forth between CCL and NCL. NCL has been giving us better deals as of late, and after 5 cruises with NCL we are almost at their highest loyalty level - and that is with booking regular balconies - no suites.
Â
Really? I might have to start looking into NCL then. Thanks for that info.
-
Just to clarify. My post was based on my own perspective and preferences, that may differ from yours. I may not be a fan, but it may have something you will enjoy. So go for it when you have the chance.
Â
Oh I understand.
-
Verizon and AARP available RIGHT NOW! Hurry while they are there!
Â
THANK YOU!!! Just got some.
-
Great, Verizon is sold out again. I wonder why they are so limited? Oh well, I will try again.
-
Worth a try for some. But having been there, I don't see any big deal. BBQ lunch was good. We just rented a clam shell for rest after a swim.
Â
Thank you! What we love about being at a beach, HMC, is it! I was really hoping PC was just like that but sadly it is not. :(
-
Worth a try for some. But having been there, I don't see anything more spectacular. There was a volleyball sand area by the beach. Some souvenir shops just after tender port. Princess BBQ lunch was good. We just rented a clam shell for rest after a swim.Did not rent the cabana.
Â
I was hoping it would be just like HMC and were SOOOO excited but the more I research PC, the more I find it is not.
-
I, too, keep looking at Verizon's site and haven't seen any. It is strange for their site to show them sold out...in the past, they don't show them listed if they are sold out.
Â
Anxiously awaiting....

Some folks thoughts from the Princess board. And many other threads mentioning it over there.
Â
Looks like other reviews/comments are out on the private island board.
Â
Thank you!!
-
Since Carnival announced some of their ships will be going to Princess Cays starting in May. Has anyone been there? Would love feedback.
Â
I was hoping it was like HMC but from what I can tell, the water isn't as pretty and the beaches are rocky. Not to mention the cabanas are not on the water.
Â
I was pretty excited about booking a cruise and having one of the ports stopping there but now I am not too sure. I guess I need to get more educated on the island.

Did anyone else get a letter today for the changed leaving and returning times for the Pride?
Â
Says they will leave Baltimore at 5 pm. And return to dock at 10 am.
Â
Why such a late return time?
Â

Â
Yes, us too. I think the returning times are for the traffic flow...is my guess. When I booked FTTF, it says our time was 12:30-1. I prefer much earlier because travelling from VA to MD in the am is much better than being later in the traffic.
-
I am pretty sure it's the same place. I didn't like it because the chairs were so closely jammed together and the beach had a 12" drop off into the ocean.
Â
The food was pretty decent but I cannot stand being bothered with vendors constantly try to seek me stuff. It's about a 15 or so minute ride to the beach. This time when I go, I am going to do the free beach.

On the Pride, we didn't build a bear but we bought a build a bear, if you know what I mean. You could buy the shirt, too that is a separate price.

Great suggestions - though someone else on here as commented that the window clings can leave residue on the doors - not mirror and glass though.
Â
Oh - and 2 months ago was before the policy change....
Â
The window cling I got were from the Dollar store and they were the kind you can use on walls. It didn't leave any residue on the cabin door. Good luck.
-
Two months ago, we decorated our door with window clings, used painters tape to tape decorations. I bought a whiteboard from the dollar store that had magnets on the back. Very easy clean up. I will be doing the same next week, too.

For us, I wrote that my son will be learning about the cultural diversities. It was approved! ha ha
-
Yeah, I pulled the trigger on British Colonial. At least my son will have access to a pool and kayak. I'm going to save Junkanoo for next spring when hubby is with us.
Â
Great! I think it's the best deal and you get food too. Have fun!
-
I too, am going to Nassau in November with my 5 year old son. We have been to Nassau many times before so this time I am going to try the British Colonial Hilton. Check it out. I have read its safe and very nice. Good luck!

Put in your S&S card. If you have onboard credits, you can use that or add bills to the machine if you are playing slots.

Just keep checking. Some will open up eventually. I am thinking that ita too early yet.
