Thanks I will call after work. I would not normally think about it because I usually have decided on my room before booking but this is an upgrade to a spa balcony room so I am really considering it since its a girls trip with my mom and sister. I think we would enjoy it.

I was offered an "upgrade". It is a balcony to balcony "upgrade". However, if I take this will it change my free prepaid gratuities I booked under and my onboard credit. I don't want to cancel those out by taking the upgrade.

My kids are grown. I am a kindergarten teacher and think it would be so fun to get great pics to show my students during Dr. Seuss week. Will I look like a creeper there without kids.

15 year Kindergarten teacher here. I plan to live vicariously thru your spring break cruise.
I have spent my planning time this whole week reading your MG NYE live. It made me want to drink! I’m a Woodbridge fan as well.- 8

While I am a novice cruiser I have been on both. I find them very similar. I liked the Ship i was on on RC better than the ship i was on on C. But that was just a ship preference.
I think the lunch is way better on C. Just more options. I sailed RC several years ago (precovid) and they had several difference drink packages to pick from. I had a beer and wine package and loved it. It was a lot cheaper than the full on bar package. C only had one but I still got my money's worth out of it. I only hit the 15 limit twice. Both sea days.
I like the adult only areas on C better. I loved all the day time activities C offered but felt like RC had better night shows.
I have only done 7 and 8 day cruises. I have a 4 day cruise on C booked this summer. But its a quick girls trip so I'm ok if it is a booze cruise. We will have fun. 🙂
I take whatever is going where I am interested in going and for a nice deal.

Thanks, I have only been on deck six for all my cruises that is why I chose that just because it was familiar.
thought they were pretty equal just needed a seasoned cruisers opinion. I totally overthink everything.

I'm a fairly novice cruiser. I have a cruise booked of July 13 our of Galveston on the Breeze. It is my mom, sister and I. It is my sisters first cruise so I want it to be a good experience for her.
We are currently booked in 6230 and have an upgrade offer for 11256 for only $44.
I am not familiar with the Breeze so I am not sure if I should take the upgrade or not. The original room is an 8A category and the upgraded room is an 8G category.
Any help or advice?

Just got off the Freedom this morning. I realize nothing is guaranteed when cruising but if I had of been given the option of a full refund before we left I would have taken it! It was a very expensive trip for our family of four adults and it was far from what we had thought we were paying for. We had a nice time but not fantastic like our cruises in the past.

We are getting ready to board the plane and are 3 hours from home and we forgot the luggage tags. If there a place at the port to get them.

Can you see the balance before you sail? I'm supposed to have like $500 and I can't find the "View Balance Details" section.
I do not have a "View Balance Details" section either.

Where can you find your onboard credit?

Huh? If you misspelled something, I didn't notice. And I certainly didn't point it out.
I was just saying just because the Carnival website still says Grand Turk for the OPs cruise isn't a guarantee that it will happen. I'm on that ship the week before them and they only cancelled Grand Turk for us last week, so it's possible they'll still change it for them too.
Edit: I see now. I think you were trying to respond to a post by crewsweeper, not my post.
I am so sorry. I guess in my haste I hit the wrong quote button. I was not meaning you at all!
I guess that’s what I get for being a snarky snot.
can I blame it on the last day before Thanksgiving break and my students were nuts therefore making me nuts? 🤷♀️

I wouldn't consider that a done deal yet though. We're on the Freedom the week before an only recently were told we're not going there. Maybe they are canceling Grand Turk one week at a time. But they are supposed to open early December, so it could end up happening.
Yes I realized I had spelled the names incorrectly right when I hit submit but I had not time to edit it because my students were coming in from recess and they needed my full attention, but thank you so much for pointing it out. It was so very kind of you and we really need more grammar and spell checkers on here.

That's a change I would be on board with (see what I did there 🙂?)
Well we also lost Bahamas with no substitution because it takes longer to get to Caracoa. So we get an extra sea day. 😞 I think we got it subbed in because our other ports were Bonair and Aruba.
-
We sail in December and we were changed from Grand Turk to Caracao.

Interesting....I didn't know if you purchased alcohol from the Fun Shop you got to take it right then. I thought it was held until the last night. This may be a nice option for some.
-
I got an email this morning from my travel agent who said they changed the itenary to Curacao, Boniar and Amber Cove. But my Carnival hub still says ABC islands. IDK... I really hate losing GR and Aruba plus HMC that is like a whole different cruise than I signed up for......
-
I am super upset over this. I am ok losing GT and gaining Curacao. But losing HMC for a sea day is not acceptable. We would not have booked an 8 day cruise if it had four sea days we would have just done a much cheaper 5 day cruise.
Is there anyway that Carnival will comp something because of losing a great port day. One we were really looking forward to. I mean three sea days was pushing it but 4 is just to much.

So I have seen the Econo lodge advertise and just wrote it off but you have me intrigued. I might check it out. I don't care what it looks like on the outside as long as it is clean and safe. Just need a bed to sleep in.

We sail out Sunday. My inlaws did all the reservations. Each couple has thier own reservation number. Our reservations are linked together.
Do we all have to check in and board together?
-
I want to take advantage of the sale but my in laws bought out drink packages (the soda package). When I called I can't upgrade to a drink package without canceling first purchase. Kinda sucks for me cause if I could just upgrade with what was paid already deducted it would be great but since they can't it doesn't come out cheaper for me to pay the whole thing even with the sale as to wait and upgrade on board.

Are you talking about like the beer and wine only drink package? Ours was listed under the other drink package options

Thank you for your replies. My boys will be 17 1/2 and 15 1/2. The 15 year old is going on 18 also lol. Most think he is the oldest. I truly do not think we will fit. I called the TA who was no help. I am going to have my husband call my MIL. One can not stay with them because they have my two nephews with them because BIL has three kids. So it is MIL and FIL and two nephews (19 and 15) in one room, BIL and SIL plus their 20 year old daughter in one room and my family of four in the other. Originally the four boys were to be together but that changed. The bathroom does not worry me it's the sleeping arrangements.
