Does anyone know if I can safely bring a stroller onto the tender boats that take you from Breakaway to GSC?

We are going there next week and were planning to stay on board rather than attempt the tender with a 16 month old - but if we can take him on in the stroller then, I would like to take him to the beach - he would love it.

Breakaway May 2015 cruise to Bermuda they did it one evening at sea in the garden cafe. No charge.

Best and least expensive option is through the iconcierge app. We used this a few times during our 2014 cruise to check in diabetic numbers for my wife who was pregnant at the time. I may be mistaken, but i think those calls were $0.79 per minute. Much better than room phone rate.

Confirmed - Just found our OBC detail from the March 2014 cruise on breakaway. We all 3 had iconcierge on our phones so we could be in contact throughout the ship. There is a one time charge (per device) of $7.95 so you have to take that into consideration - but it was worth it for us to be able to keep in touch with our daughter AND each other wherever we were. Once you have the app, calls to landline calls while at sea or in port - on their network - are $0.79 per minute from the convenience of your cell phone. Whether this rate has changed over the past two years, I don't know - but I can definitely now confirm that it WAS only 79 cents/min from the app. Cabin calls would have been 4.99 per minute.

We did the show a few years back. Wanted to do again but are now traveling with a 16 month old. Wasn't sure if they would be better seats to be out of the way with the baby. Thanks

I can't seem to find anywhere what the difference is between standard and VIP seating in the Cirque Dreams show. Does anyone know what the difference is and why the upcharge?

 

We are fairly easy suite guests. We get a few breakfasts ensuite, have had two ensuite dinners in all of our cruises, we get our own late-night snacks from Blue Lagoon, we order bar setup and make our own drinks. We have made very few special requests, but those we have asked for have been fulfilled with a smile. We tip very well, because we have both been in the service business, and I have seen what NCL butlers go through with "needy" or cheap or occasionally rude passengers. Only once have we had a butler who was not 110% up to par, and he wasn't that bad - maybe 70% (our butler on Celebrity only ranked about 30%). I also tip well because even if you ask for nothing special, there is so much that is carried out behind the scenes by both the concierge and the butler that most people probably never even notice, they only notice that they are having a great cruise.

 

I think it is appropriate to ask the butler for whatever you wish, but be prepared for a "no can do" answer or perhaps a delay or even a substitution (delivery by room service instead or strawberries instead of mixed berries if that is all he can find onboard). And be prepared to tip accordingly for all special requests.

You say you order a bar setup. What do you mean by this? We are in have aft penthouse next week and of course like everyone else in haven have the included beverage package. We are expecting to spend a lot of time on our own balcony rather than the pool deck so drinks would be a concern. We are simple in that most of what we drink is basic stuff. Can I request bottles for the room through the bev pkg and we can then make our own drinks so as to not drive the shop staff crazy bringing us one drink at a time to the room?

We did Jewel in a balcony with our daughter (8 yrs old at the time) and it was a bit tight. Following 2 years on breakaway, we did family mini-suite. Three of us were OK, add in baby last year and it was crazy tight (4 of us). This year we upgraded to Haven Aft Facing PH, totally expecting this to be the perfect space for us now.

To be fair, we do expect to be making much more use of our room than usual so extra space will be necessary and welcome to our plan for this trip.
