  1. What about those emergency silver mylar blankets? Anyone use those on the balcony? If yes, do they keep you warm? Or are they too noisy? They pack to nothing, so was wondering if they would be helpful for the balcony in Alaska?

  2. Ok, I'm on a Princess Southbound Voyage of the Glaciers and we are in the port of Juneau from 6:30am to 4:00pm. Is that enough time for the Adventure Bound Tracy Arm excursion. I don't see it as an option on my Princess cruise personalizer.

Would we be able to do Allen Marine or another operator? I'm guessing I don't have the option of picking up the excursion prior to docking in Juneau?

  3. We just received notification that Air Canada moved our flight up about an earlier to 11:45am on the day we arrive in Vancouver Canada Place port for disembarkation. Our Princess cruise is scheduled to arrive in Vancouver Canada Place port at 7:30am.

Princess recommends not booking a flight until after Noon, and since it is an international flight, we're supposed to get there two hours before. I've read it could take up to one hour to get to the airport if there is traffic/accident.

Given this we would probably need to disembark by 9am. Is this pushing it as far as time goes. Is Princess historically late in getting to Vancouver Canada Place port from an Alaska cruise?

Air Canada has a 1:30pm flight, so if the 11:45am flight is too risky, I was going to car and see if Air Canada will switch it, since THEY moved the flight time earlier.

    What do you think?
