  1. Hello everyone.  We are booking on Anthem and have two kids 10 and 13.  Our choices for GLS are 8724, 10320 and 10720.  We know 8724 has a bigger living room, but noise from 270. The corner GLS have smaller rooms, but the balcony has a table for four (we like breakfast on the balcony).  We are leaning towards the options on deck 10, but the pull out couch seems small for two bigger kids.  Can they fit a rollaway in the corner rooms?  Or only 8724?  Any thoughts would be appreciated!!!

  2. I apologize in advance, but searched the topics and can’t find the answer.  Our cruise leaves Monday and we have the at home tests.  Can we take the test anytime today (Saturday) regardless of boarding time?  Having flashbacks to our Hawai’i trip where things had to be timed to the boarding time of your plane.  Thank you…I know the question has likely been asked 100 times

  3. We decided to book on the Disney Wish and have the choice between cabins 13008 and 12034.  Not too worried about the floor, but trying to decide which room will be quieter.  13008 is a connecting room, but 12034 is near elevators and might share a wall with pool restrooms.  Anyone have an opinion?  Thanks in advance!

I can load my card, but my daughter does not have the option. She is fully vaccinated but only 9. Do I just have to wait till we get to the pier? They sent me an option to register her for a PCR test on the assumption she isn’t vaccinated (not going to do it, as we will follow the vaccinated rules). Anyone have tips?

I had the same question.  We have an 8 y/o who is vaccinated and no option to upload record in the app and received the PCR email.  Assuming the app hasn’t been modified to reflect the new vaccine availability and he will just follow vaccinated guidelines.  Anyone else know anything?

  5. Well, interesting change to the schedule, but at least they confirmed it now.  We rebooked and grabbed one the loft suites.  Prices doesn’t seem to be too bad for 14 nights.  We were originally going to do 3 nights in Singapore, 5 nights on the cruise and then 5 nights in Vietnam.  Now it’s 14 nights and a few extra ports, but we get to unpack once.

Holy Moses! This is going to be interesting.

Just logged on RCCL.  Yes, our March 22, 2021 Quantum of the Seas booking now shows it's also a 14-day Singapore to Tokyo.

March 22, 2021 to April 5, 2021............wow! how is this possible????

Exactly what we thought - especially since they have us in the same cabin....and RCCL said maybe next week they will have more info.  Has to be a glitch in the system.

  7. We signed into our account last night and found that our March 22, 2021 - 5 night Singapore trip is now showing as a 14 night Singapore to Tokyo.  Our travel agent called and we also called Royal and both answers were "the sailing is under review and no decisions have been made."  Anyone else have this issue?  The change from a 5 night to 14 night is a pretty big deal.

  8. Hello everyone.  I know Voyager is getting updates at the next dry dock, but wondering if anyone knows if cabins will get an update as well?  We have been on Oasis, Ovation and another cruise booked on Symphony - newer ships.  Wife can be picky about things and is already bummed she wont have a genie in star class =).  Any input would be great.

  9. Yes to the room service. Just request from your Genie and they will take care of it. We tried ordering things without our Genie and she would insist on using her for everything. She liked to check in after it was delivered to make sure everything was perfect.

We only had our room stocked with beer and non alcoholic drinks. They would also have a drink cart in the afternoon and we drank so much out at the bars, not having a lot in the room was probably good for us.

  10. Hello everyone! We sailed on Oasis in the Royal Loft Suite (we got a great “deal”) and now officially hooked on Star Class after just one experience. We have booked Ovation for Alaska in July 2019 and Symphony in March 2020.

We took the last Star Class suite on Ovation that they could find and it is room 8324. It looks like it’s above an entertainment venue and curious if the noise is bothersome? We have two kids ages 10 and 5 and hoping it doesn’t keep them up too late. Also, any vibrations in the back of the ship to be worried about?

    Thanks so much!

  11. We have the opportunity to move to the Royal Loft Suite for an extra 2k from a 2 ATS, room 8730. Its a family of four with an 8 and 4 y/o. Should we do it? Money isn't the issue at this point, but we don't get out often on family vacations so just making the most of it. I know the RLS is close to CK and the lounge, but ATS has a few of the shows for the kids.

    Thoughts?

  12. Hello everyone. We just switched our reservations around and decided to upgrade to a 2 bedroom ATS on Oasis in March. We are excited about the space and the benefits of Star Class, but two questions.

    1. Should we be concerned about noise in the room, specifically the bedrooms? It looks like with the doors shut it should be quiet given the bedrooms are set back quite a bit.

    2. I have noticed mention of a lot of "parties" on the balconies of the ATS. Should we be concerned about dozens of people above us?

Its a small fortune to stay in the ATS and we are looking for some rest and relaxation, so setting our expectations now.

    Thanks!

  13. Hello everyone. I normally can make decisions without help, but we haven't cruised in 12 years and first one with our kids (4 & 8). We are currently booked on Allure with a grand suite connecting to an extra balcony room. We like this because it gives us some space, privacy for mom and dad, and beds for the kids. BUT, the crown loft suite looks really cool and love being in a quiet part of the ship up on deck 17. Looks like we lose a bath tub and the kids will need to use the pull-out, plus no real wall between the two sleep areas. CLS is about 700 more than the two cabins combined - so not enough to push me in one direction or the other. What would you all do for those that sail often? Any advice would be great.

One odd question - if the kids use the pull out every day in the CLS, will the room attendant make it back into a couch each morning? Or will they keep it a bed the entire trip.

    THANK YOU!!!

  14. Need some help with recent personal experiences. We are booked on Allure and we have a grand suite and connecting balcony room for our kids 4 and 8. RCCL has told us different answers, our TA has gotten different answers and it seems as though people have had different experiences with the sky class benefits in this situation. I know our kids wont get the unlimited internet and a few other things, but will they get to join us in the coastal kitchen, preferred seating, etc.?

We need the two bathrooms and there aren't any connecting suites to make that happen.

    Thoughts?

  15. Hello. We are trying to book on allure with connecting rooms with one being a grand suite. The only option available is 12260 and 12262. It looks like they are right near stairs and elevator, but hard to tell if there is a dividing wall and how much noise we might get. Are these rooms quiet? Will we regret the location? Please help, first cruise in 10 years.
