My family is doing a HAL cruisetour in August and I have been asking my mother about the cruise she and my father took to Alaska back in the 80's which they enjoyed very much. She sent me a booklet from the cruise which I received yesterday. It was the Sundancer of all things! I can't wait to update her on it's history.

We were actually leaning towards Princess, but they would not put the four of us myself, DH, DD (13) and DS (9) in a suite. They would gladly have crammed the four of us in a cabin half the size. HAL was more than happy to put us in their suite (category S) so that is who we picked. We are doing a cruisetour, and both HAL and Princess had good itineraries for our family.
