Of course he'll also do everything everyone has said, but if it's your first time in a suite and you don't really know what to ask of him, just know he'll make you feel comfortable, welcome and important.

Sounds great!! I'm thinking we're going to be spoiled and may never go back to balcony! We like to tip additionally......what would you suggest?

Great-thank you!  I saw on this board on page 3 a list of the Officers from a photo that Maeling was the HD.  That is why I asked.  Have sailed with Jovo on my 2 previous cruises and he was great!  I hope he is.  

I was on Bliss earlier in March and Maeling was HD - First time we had met and I was impressed.  He was very good. We were sorry to have missed Jovo though.....he is a class act.

Cruising this month on the Equinox  Does anyone know who the current hotel director is?  TIA

Thinking of 5 day Infinity in January.  Booking aqua and am torn between deck 9 with poles, overhang, and under the lido deck or deck 11.....Any insight will be greatly appreciated and would also appreciate any cabin numbers that you can either recommend or ones to avoid.  Thank you!!!

NCL cruise consultant insists that ALL mini-suites on Bliss have bed by the bathroom and that ALL balcony rooms have bed by the balcony.......can anyone confirm or deny? If this is not true, please provide mini-suite cabin number.

Just want to thank you so much for this review; it is most helpful. DH and I are on the March 4 sailing. It's our first time on Celebrity and are now counting down the hours until we can trade in our snow boots for flip flops:cool:

I'd be very surprised, as the alternating rooms is how NCL squeeze so many rooms in. The room is wider where the bed is, and they have to alternate in order to fit them together.

 

The only way that I can picture them being able to do this would be for there not to be any cupboards or anything at the end of the bed, and the cabins be thinner. I suppose that is feasible, but I would be surprised. The current format works pretty well, in my opinion.

 

My guess is that the cruise consultant was wrong.

I agree. It doesn't make sense. Maybe others will check with their cruise consultant and report back.

Just heard from my NCL cruise consultant that ALL balcony and mini-suite staterooms on Bliss have the bed by the bathroom......can anyone confirm that? Thanks.

Good Morning all :)

Looking forward to our first Celebrity cruise in March. Will be on the Silhouette. I have a few questions.....

1. We received the classic beverage passage when booking. Can I upgrade to the premium package before embarkation?

2. With regard to evening chic, do any men wear tuxedos? DH would love to get another wear out of the one he bought for our son's recent wedding! Suit or Sport jacket and slacks? For once, its easier to be a woman;)

3. What time is usually good to arrive at POM for embarkation? We like to board early but want to avoid crazy lines.

Looking forward to a new cruise experience. Any pointers from this great cc community would be much appreciated!!
