We had the same coast guard escort out of Juneau when we were there in June.

Thought it was a neat photo op., funny thing was a friend who was with us, noticed the boats number was the same as his employee number where he works.

My Dh and I went to the Art Auction on our first cruise this May. We bought a framed picture that we carried off the ship. We really liked it, but it probably isn't worth very much. We only paid $130 for it. It is an Alexander Chen, and the picture is "Yosemite Half Dome". We don't have the money to buy expensive art right now, but we are happy with this souvenir of our first cruise.

While on our cruise friends bought the same piece for my wife and I for our anniversary. I just love sitting in my chair at home looking at it on our living room wall.we know that meadow so well, it makes us feel as if we are there.

We were just there, we used the blue bus, bought tixs for 1 way, that way you can buy tixs on either bus for the return trip. We happened to catch a blue bus, but a white one was just behind us. It is a short walk from parking lot to visitor center, with bathrooms in between. There is a elevator if needed to go up to the center. The fee is $3.00 per person unless you have a national parks pass. Don't wait until the last minute to leave, you will want to give yourself some time.

Hike to nugget falls is about 1 mile each way.
