  1. We will be sailing on EOS to Alaska in August.

I understand the ice skating performance showtimes on EOS will be allotted in accordance with the Assembly Stations. But the Production show times are allotted by dinner seating. We are doing My Time Dining, so do we just pick our own time depending on our dinner reservation?

    Thanks!

  2. We were on Harmony last August, my daughter was 12 and weighted 73 pounds before the cruise. She wanted

to try the zip line so badly but the minimum limit is 75 pounds. Crew would not let her do it on Day 1 but suggested her to eat more during the cruise and try again toward the end of the cruise.

After having steaks and frites for several nights and double desserts after each meal, she tried again on Day 5. She was barely 75 pounds at first but the crew member weighted her again after she put on the harness which gave her a couple more pounds. She did it for a few times and then she was done with it and called that a mission accomplished.

My suggestion is to check with different crew members at different time.

Wish you luck and enjoy your cruise!!

  3. Our family of 4 (kids are 10 and 11) cruises on Anthem a couple of times. Once in a balcony to New England and once in the interior room to the Bahamas. We opted for the room lies horizontal in the center of the ship. We find the room sizes are about the same for both. The only difference is of course there is no balcony in the interior room. We will go for the interior room if we are sailing during the Winter and to the Caribbean. Plus, it will be much safer to stay in the interior room if you are sailing with small kids. Hope this helps! Happy cruising!! [emoji16]

  4. We had cabin 10729 on Harmony last August. My kids of 10 and 11 love it and spent a lot of time sitting outside. I myself enjoyed watching the Aqua Theatre shows as well as the rehearsals from the balcony.

We sailed in ocean view balcony before and my kids only stepped out once or twice during the cruise. Plus I don’t feel comfortable leaving the kids outside on the ocean view balcony but this is completely different with the boardwalk balcony. I allowed my kids to sit outside on their own to people watch or play with their devices.

For noise level, I don’t find it noisy as long as the balcony door is closed and locked. I love the boardwalk balcony room as long as it is the last cabin at the end. I booked the same cabin for our 2019 Symphony cruise. [emoji41]

  5. I think you meant to put this in the Roll call for this cruise (I'm assuming Dec 14th, we are on that cruise too!) The roll call for this is here:

  6. Forgot to mention, we will be heading to Universal at Port Canaveral. We have rented a car which only costs less than USD$30 for the day. Just need a little extra time in the morning to pick up the car and return it at night and then Uber back to the ship. That’s the best cost saving option that I can find so far. Parking at Universal will be $20 for the day.
