We were there at 8:05 first in line to go in.

Moreover they had meny tickets on site.

BUT, there are lots of other "variables" to consider. How many ships will be in port that morning? Will your ship be docked or tendered? These factors can affect your timing.

Are you doing a ship tour? Or, have you purchased the ticket on your own? [/img]

We bought the tickets online

The tickets were only for 8:35 so we bought them

Where can we find information on Flam port?

How can we know how many ships will be there that day?

We decided to purchase the tickets and hope to make it - promise to update.

I sent them an e-mail, they will not even change the time, if we are late, even though I'm with my mother 79-year-old woman (in good shape).

But - we do not want to miss the train!!

Question to you - Do we board the train with the tickets we got on e-mail directly or we have to to replace them at the visitor center or in the case?

If so, how long does it take?

Do you think we should book the tours from the ship in advance or can we wait and book on the ship?

Most tours are view tours and therefore the weather it is important.

They are also expensive tours and you can not cancel if the weather is bad.

We would prefer to wait

but -

Is it possible that there will be no room for these tours?

or

Can someone, who recently returned from a Cruise with Costa Diadema possibly, tell us the prices for a can of Coke/Zero? Cappuccino? Vodka with orange juice? Cocktails?

We do not drink much alcohol, and understand the beverages packages are only drinking by the glass, so we prefer buying individual cans or bottles and alcohol drinks from time to time.

We have a cruise with the Costa Diadema strating from Rome at 28/4/2016

The ship leaves at 19:00.

This is our first time !!

From your experience at what time do you think we should arrive to the port? We will sleep the night before in a hotel in central Rome near Trevi Fountain and we plan to tour the area in the morning before leaving to the port.

We will take a privte Shuttle to the port from the hotel.

Is it o.k. to leave around 14:00 and to arrive at 16:00 (taking the risk of 2 hours in the way)? is it too late?

How much time dose it take from the moment we arrive with the shuttle to the port till we on the ship?

What type of hotel shuttle are you talking about bus or taxi? Have you confirmed that the hotel shuttle will be allowed into the port area?

 

What day will you be travelling to Civitavecchi, take into account rush hourß

 

Last Saturday in Civitavecchia there was tighter security.

 

Another factor to check is to see how many other ships will be in port.

Our cruise starts on Thursday 28 April at 19:00 (costa diadema).

We take into account two hours getting to the port.

If we leave central Rome at 14:00 and arrive until 16:00 Does it make sense?

Should we arrive earlier than 16:00?

We plan to take a private transfer from the hotel near Trevi Fountain.

I do not know if the shuttle can enter the port.

Is there a lot of walking? Do we need to take a shuttle inside the port? (never been there).

How much time is it from the place the shuttle dropped us off until we get to the ship?
