  1. I am sailing September 25 on the Victory. I will be staying in a balcony cabin on deck 10 forward. Specifically, room 1031. Any thoughts on this room/location? Such as noise, crowds, convenience, view. Or any tips regarding rooms in general. I hear they have the lights controled by a card in the wall (not sure how else to describe it), is this true?

    TIA

  2. I am sailing on the Victory and staying in a balcony cabin on Deck 10. I believe I read somewhere that they have updated all of the rooms on the Victory at this point. Is this the case? If so, have they replaced the trundle beds with a pull out couch or a pullman bed? I ask because I have never seen one on a ship before and I would hope Carnival would have replaced them to pleasr their guests. If they have not replaced the trundle beds can someone please comment on how comforatable they are?

    TIA

  4. I am sailing on the Carnival Victory on 9/25 sailing. To my knowledge the Victory does not have the 2.0 upgrades, correct? It does have a serenity deck though, right? If the Victory does not have the 2.0 upgrades what are the best places to not miss? Are there secret hideaways? How many pools are there? How are the crowds around the pool? Any other tips will be much appreciated. Also, what excursion did you do in Cozumel?

    TIA

  5. Sounds like the Vista is the best option especially if you are doing the same itenarary as the conquest in April. Go to different ports. St.Kitts and St. Maarten are much better ports. The vista is a nicer newer ship compared to many of the other ships in their fleet. As a far as crowds or long lines that varies by cruise and you can't believe everything you read about how small or crowded everything is.

  6. Being in a forward cabin you do have a higher chance of feeling the ship moving/rocking. It all depends on the seas (if they're rough or not). For future cruises, (if you get sea sick) I would suggest a mid-ship cabin and I would definitly not suggest an aft. An aft cabin typicaly feels the most movement and you have the ships thrusters that you feel and hear.

  7. What do y'all think about the new clue game aboard the Conquest? Is it as fun as they make it sound? On average how many meetings throughout the week do they have? Are they at convient time? Any insights you may have will be appreciated.

    TIA

  8. I would not call it a dissapointment. To me no cruise is a true dissapointment. I have not been on the Conquest but its sister, the Valor. Currently, Carnival has no plans to upgrade the Conquest with the exception of the new serenity deck they are adding in June. I don't know exactly what you are looking for but there are plenty of activities to do on board.

  9. If you can splurge on it, I HIGHLY suggest the HAVEN. The Haven is the most amazing cruise experience you can imagine. It is like a dream. However, tbis will spoil any future cruises on Norwegian if you don't sail in the Haven in the future.

When you are in the Haven, you get FREE butler service, FREE room service, FREE snack, an EXCLUSIVE pool, an EXCLUSIVE bar, and EXCLUSIVE restaurant (yes restaurant), a CONCIERGE, a PRIVATE sun deck, BIGGER bathrooms, and an entire PRIVATE section of the ship that in ONLY for Haven guests. You get ESCORTED on the ship at Miami, you get ESCORTED off the ship at ports of call, and RESERVED seating in the Escape theater.

There are MANY MANY MANY more perks that come with the Haven, but I con't list them all.

In other words, you should spluge for the Haven if possible.

    IT MADE MY CRUISE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. For us RCCL was almost double. We looked a suites and it was around $20,000 for the four of us for a 7 day cruise. Some higher then that. We looked at NCL and got a Haven room for about $9000 for same time span.

Oh. Well, for the price I would say go with the Escape. It is a beautiful ship with many activities. I have only sailed NCL one (the Escape), and I would say staying in the Haven MADE THE CRUISE it is an experience like no other. Have an amazing time on Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Escape!!!!!!!!

  11. Million Dollar Quartet is not on the ship any more and it is After Midnight (not before midnight). I did not go to After Midnight, but my sister did and she said it was terrible. As far as For the Record: The Brat Pack...

    DO NOT MISS IT!!!!!!!

It is amazing; the best show, at sea, that I have ever seen. It is PG 16. Here is a little preview

. In this video, it shows the Brat Pack in the Supper Club (its original home) but it has moved into the Escape theatre and this video doesn't do it justice. It has much improved since the video was made. The best part is that this show was structured SPECIFICALLY fot THIS ship.

I don't know when your sailing is but Harry Maurer, the magician, is either on board now or will be soon. He will be on untill sometime in February. He is amazing and you should not miss him if he is on.
