  1. Thanks for the suggestions. We will be a party of 5 adults and 5 children and it's nearly impossible to get a table for 10 in Cabanas without as you said guarding the table. I hate having to do that !

You said you last cruised Disney in April of 2018, what ship and where did you go ?

We have only 6 days to go and the adults as well as the "children" ( ages 11 to 16 ) can hardly wait !

    Thanks again for your responses.

  2. Looking for others that have booked this cruise.

My wife and I will be celebrating our 50th. wedding anniversary on this cruise along with our 2 children and 5 grand children. This is our 3rd, Disney cruise ( have sailed Royal Caribbean numerous times ) as we have celebrated our 40th. & 45th. wedding anniversaries on Disney with our family. Really looking forward to the Southern Caribbean sailing.

  3. Hi Steve from PA, good to hear back from you. Wife and I had also considered one of the aft cabins due to large balcony but wife also felt the long walk would get very old, very quickly and I agree. Not as young as we used to be. So you have a cabin only 2 doors down from us. Great! Looking forward to more conversations and meeting you in April.

    Take care and God Bless.:)

  4. Good to hear back from you. Chester County is not all that far from us. We live almost on the Maryland & Pennsylvania border in PA.

Sounds like you really enjoy the April cruises to the Southern Caribbean. Looking forward to more chats with you and possibly meeting you and yours and hearing more about your last and upcoming April cruise.:)

  5. I see you are booking the 11 night Southern Caribbean Cruise on the Serenade in sailing 04/09/18. We are from PA and have also booked this cruise. You mentioned grandchildren in 1 of your posts. We have 5 and as much as we love them it will be nice to "get away". In 2018 my wife and I are celebrating our 50th. wedding anniversary. Actual date isn't until September of 2018 but prices and weather are better in April. Have sent a "friend" request. In what part of PA do you live ? We live in South Central, PA.

  6. I know exactly what you mean about "giving anything not to need the HA cabins".

Royal Caribbean has several far aft cabins on deck 7 ( not designated HA from what I can see) that really look nice. Big verandah, 3 chairs, 2 lounges, 2 tables etc. and the cabins looks larger also. Only problem with them is the view is partially obstructed.

Just trying to find something a little larger without paying for a Jr. Suite.

Again, thank you for replying and God Bless !

  7. Thanks for the quick reply. Guess I'm referring to the same cabins as you are, just calling them something different.

I do understand that they are marked for HA but was wondering if they are ever sold to non-HA. Had seen far aft cabins and images @ Cruise Critic for Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas and wanted to look into a similar cabin type.

Hope I don't offend you trying to book a HA cabin when I don't really have a need for one.:):):)

  8. Planning a Southern Caribbean cruise out of San Juan in 2018 on Disney Magic and we are considering an Aft. Corner cabin w/verandah. We usually pick a deck 7 D1 cat. mid-ship verandah cabin. Has any one booked an aft. cabin and does any one have any images of same? Would like to hear any reviews on same. Aft, Cabins w / verandah are advertised as 400 sq. ft. including verandah versus DI mid-ship is about 300 sq. ft. including verandah:):):)
