That price is steep for water, but I'm not going to let a few dollars compared to the overall amount spent on a cruise, change my thoughts about a cruise line..

I changed cabins to 11080, hopefully that will be a quieter cabin than 11000.

We have scheduled a cruise on the Spirit with a balcony cabin. We have a choice of Deck 10 or Deck 11, midship. Which one would be best?

I looked at the cabin I booked and the price is the same, but it now comes with $100 OBC. Should I call and see if I can get the OBC?

Hate hearing this. I really do not like American Table menu. Oh well, what can you do? Oh, that's right I booked my next cruise after Fascination with NCL.

We were in Casablanca last week on NCL Spirit. The shuttle is still available, but no longer free. We paid $15 each, good for all day travel. I can't help with the mosque walk, we only visited the market (if you use the shuttle, look for the clock tower on the left ahead of the bus drop off point). There were many street hawkers between the bus stop and the market, but there were none in evidence inside the souk walls. We just strolled through the area without any problems, however we didn't stop to buy anything.

 

There were some taxis available at the port, but I know of one passenger who reluctantly paid a $20 tip requested by the driver, rather than get into an argument. Personally, I would pre-book a recommended taxi if I needed one here. As mentioned in an earlier post, I believe visiting times for the mosque can be restricted for non Muslims. I hope you enjoy your walk.:)

We will be visiting Casablanca in December on the Spirit. Are there no excursions you can sign up for? When I try to look at them on the NCL website there are none listed. Is the marketplace and the Mosque the two biggest attractions to visit?

What are these rooms under? I was looking at the deck layout and it looks like they might be under a night club. I booked 11000, just seeing if maybe I should choose another cabin.

Thanks for the great review. We are going on this cruise in December and it will be our first experience with Norwegian and our first trip to Europe and Africa.

I bought a Nikon cool pix waterproof camera for 75 bucks at Wally World and put a 64 GB chip in it. We use it to take pictures while snorkeling. It works great.
