Its the Carnival Pride and it'll be there from 9-5. My Conquest is there 11-7. Sun will set around 6.

Not happy about that schedule. It's a tough decision because ppl say golf carts will be sold out if I wait.

In November I'll be on the Conquest. We're due to arrive in Grand Turk at 11 AM :(, and another Carnival ship will be already there, at 9. What is our chance of finding beach chairs at the port or down at Jack's? My backup plan would be to rent a golf cart, but that would require a prior commitment to that and we'd rather just relax near the port.

What type of water shoes did you wear for the cave tubing? I have closed toe water shoes from Lands End and I have Teva sandals. My Teva's are much more comfortable, but they're open toed. Does it matter?

I finally got my email confirmation from them this morning after sending them another email. No explanation why there was a delay. I also tried calling them 4 times this morning and the phone was never answered.

I made a reservation for Nachi Cocum 2 days ago and all I've gotten was the Paypal receipt, which says nothing but the deposit amount and the vendor. I emailed them yesterday asking about getting an official confirmation and haven't heard back

How long do they normally take to confirm?

Can someone explain how getting off the ship with tenders work? We can't get FTTF because we just had to switch from the Fascination to Glory and they're sold out.

We want to do a non-carnival excursion and we're newbies to cruising. What's the procedure in the morning?

Our December Fascination was cancelled and we were able to switch to Glory for pretty much the same dates. Now frantically researching the new ports for comparable excursions we had planned.

We we were going to do a lot of snorkeling, especially Captain Bob's in St Maartens and Spencer Ambrose snorkeling in St Lucia.

Question: Is there any tour/location that has comparable Capt Bobs and Spencer Ambrose in Grand Cayman, Mahogany Bay, Belize, or Cozumel? It seems like there's hundreds of tours at each port and I'm having trouble narrowing it down. We've never been to any of these places and I'm starting from scratch.

There will be 7 cruise ships in port while we will be there in December :eek:. I've never been to Cozumel. Can you experts tell me how bad that might be? We are just looking to go to a nice beach with some activities and snorkeling. We're in our 50's with 3 twentysomethings. Thanks

OK, I figured it out, duh on my part. The amount not used remains on the card, not my online account. I just re-enter the same gift card number on the other booking number page, right?

And just to clarify, 1 gift card can be used between 2 booking numbers?

I'm trying to figure out how to purchase FTTF for 2 cabins using carnival gift cards. I'll pay 1 cabin's FTTF with a $100 gift card. There will be a remaining balance on the card afterwards. How can I transfer that remaining balance on the gift card over to the other cabin's FTTF, since there's a different booking number?

What happens to any remaining gift card balance when I'm finished? I guess it's just OBC?

How are the pillows on Carnival Cruises (conquest)? I tend to be a stomach sleeper and need a thinner pillow. I have trouble sleeping with the big fluffy pillows most hotels have.
