Amazing! I wasn't going to bother with trying out the new policy until I read this thread today. Since our trip is only 9 days out, I went ahead and paid for our reserved excursions today and submitted price guarantee requests for two of them. It only took 3 hours to get an email back from Princess saying both of my requests were accepted. That's an extra $90 we can spend on drinks!!

I've been wondering the same thing about the food available there. For our upcoming trip in November, we went cheap with an interior and purposely booked an aft room 2 floors down from Outriggers with the idea that we can use it as our "balcony" to relax on. Of course, there is the buffet right next door to grab snacks at and then head to the back for some ritas!

We will have 2 formal nights on an upcoming Princess cruise. Do you get 2 tuxedo shirts with the basic black tux package? If not, who pays to launder the shirt between the formal nights?

According to the website, it looks like you only get 1 shirt. I'm assuming if you want it laundered you have to pay for it yourself. There is the option to rent additional shirts for $15 each. I think my DH will be bringing his own shirt with him.

Thanks for all the great feedback! It sounds like a good option to keep the amount of clothes we pack to a minimum.... more room for souvenirs! :)

Does anyone have any experience with the 3rd-party formal wear rental that Princess offers? How is the quality and is there a tailor on board if something doesn't fit right?

Also, how far in advance of the sail date can you submit a reservation for this?
