Wow!!! We’ve been cruising RCCL for 20+ years and always bring surge protectors and unless we’re in a suite we bring our Keurig coffee pot. Never had an issue after 63 cruises. I see the confiscated stuff on the table on disembarking day but never had an issue.

After several years hiatus, we tried JR on the Liberty a few weeks back and found it to be not much different than the burgers and dogs served in the Windjammer. Most definitely not worth the upcharge. Guy's on Carnival has a superior product and at no upcharge.

I personally detest the current system. That being said, I'm not a germophobe by any means. The back up in the lines is annoying as is the difficulty trying to communicate the serving size and particular selection of items.

After 60+ cruises we are sailing mostly in Grand Suites now. Started out doing inside, then OV and settled on balconies for years. Did an upgrade to a GS a few years back and really loved the additional room and suite perks. We now book a balcony and always make a bid on the Royal Up to a GS. It's amazing how often you can get a GS for a couple hundred more. The only issue we have is that the GS are seldom located where we prefer, that being on the rear hump. There's no way we'll ever go back to an inside, especially an inside guarantee.

We had 1556 and no issues.

We made Diamond + on a 14 night Vision repositioning cruise a few years back. We were issued new cards that night in the Diamond lounge.

We were on the Independence 8/22 and there were 1072 passengers. Ship was like a ghost town. I loved it but realize RCCL can't stay in business at those levels. We have 8 more booked through '22 and expect to see full or close to capacity next year.

Our luggage tags still show the balcony but the boarding pass is for the GS. Wife emailed them and they replied that they'd get back with her?

Received the email this morning that we were upgraded from a balcony to a Grand Suite on the Independence. Compared to the RCCL website and including the C&A discount, we saved almost $4K

Depends, we are D+ and get a BOGO specialty restaurant each on a 7 day. So we usually will do the two BOGO and later in the week we’ll hit another specialty restaurant, usually Sabor if on a ship that has it. Will be doing a T/A 14 night on the Allure and due to the number of dining options we will probably do the UDP.

Speaking long term, I’d say the quality has declined a bit over the past 20 years.

We've done the MSC yacht club twice on the Seaside and are booked on the Meraviglia in October. If you watch their pricing there are some seriously good deals to be had. If you have sailed NCL in the Haven, this is very comparable. Wife and I booked a Deluxe Yacht club Suite for about $3500 for both of us. 2019 we caught a sale and booked the same for $2600.

We only buy insurance when air travel is involved. 80% of our cruises are out of Galveston which is a 2 1/2 hr drive.

Got mine yesterday, Same room assignment as the Liberty.

How did it happen, did you go to the Loyalty Ambassador?
Yes we did and they had our new D+ cards delivered to our room the morning that we made D+

No they don't
You need to explain that to RCCL then. We have had access to the Concierge lounges on every ship we've been on that had them.

We made D+ a few years ago on the Vision, we got our pins, etc the day we reached the required cruise days.

We've done the Yacht club on the Seaside twice and seldom left the YC area. Have a YC suite booked on the Meraviglia this October.

Our first was the Majesty and last (before Covid) was the Majesty.

We got our Diamond and Diamond+ the actual day we made the number. Gonna be a long wait for our Pinnacle thought.

We're booked on the Adventure 11/05 11 nt.from Bayonne to Galveston. Were booked on the Jewel 11/26 from Rome to Galveston but it cancelled. Had an MSC and Carnival booked for October too Highly doubt we'll be sailing the Adventure.
MSC advice for first timer (I know this is the Royal forum)

We've done three MSC Yacht club cruises with a fourth booked for this October. First two were on the Seaside and the last was the Merviglia. The Seaside had larger suites than the Meraviglia, other than that the experience was the same. Food and entertainment were outstanding! We are diamond+ on RCCL and out status carried over to their to tier which is diamond. Next MSC cruise will be a yacht club suite on the Seashore. I highly recommend MSC cruises especially the yacht club.
