Just got back last month from the Sunshine:

-Curtain. But since the showers are bigger than I rememberon other cruise lines, it was mostly fine.

-Yea on shampoo & body wash, nay on conditioner &body lotion. Both on the 2 dispensers in the shower.

-You have the option on morning/night as our steward askedus which one we wanted. We asked for both J

-You insert your cruise card for all laundromat services.Doesn’t take actual case/coins. Very easy.

Just got off Sunshine last month. A few answers:

-The gym was typically busy, but I worked out 3 times on the treadmill, and there was always one available.

-The professional shows were tremendous- and I consider myself pretty hard to please on this. For my cruise, the atrium entertainment was often a Philippino that would sing country music- and he was awesome! Also, a husband/wife band performing Latino music, which was tremendous.

-I also used the sauna. It was free & very good. Helped get my sweat on.

I was just on the Carnival Sunshine, and they had a wonderful husband/wife band from Colombia that played great Latino music in the Habana Bar. Does anyone know their name? I'd like to look them up & stay in contact with them via social media. Thanks in advance.

I'm going on an 8-night cruise on the Carnival Sunshine in April 28, 2017. Does anyone know which of the nights are the "elegant nights"?

Good day! We're going on a Carnival cruise where one of the stops is Aruba. For an excursion, we want to do the beginner's scuba diving. However, the Carnival website says that the cost is "starting at" $97. Does anyone know how much it actually is, total? I'm trying to budget this out. Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback; at this time, the difference between the most expensive exterior cabin and the cheapest balcony cabin after you account for the 3 people staying in the room is coming out to be $550 (to be exact).

What wonderful advice you all gave me. Gave real clarity. It's going to be just my wife, son & I, so I think we'll go with the exterior & save the $500. Thank you sooo much!

Hi! As I'm getting ready to book a regular balcony cabin on Carnival Sunshine (which are 185 sq ft not counting the balcony), I noticed there are some exterior cabins which have 220 sq feet & are $500 cheaper. Any thoughts on giving up the balcony for 35 square feet more of space in the cabin, as well as saving $500?

My first post. We are going on the Sunshine, and I'm wondering about space for the luggage since the cabin is only 185 sq ft. Does anyone know if there's space under the bed to put the luggage? Or can anyone give me an idea on what to do with them? Thanks!
