  1. My wife and I will be sailing on the Joy in a Mini Suite. When booking, the agent was unable to tell us if the bed would be next to the balcony or closet. Is there anyway to get a definite answer?  Currently in room 13528.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. I second this. Personally, I don't think I would ever do a TA without a spa pass. Not sure what your budget is. The Haven would also be a great option for this cruise. If not Haven, a spa mini suite or balcony would be great too. The weather can vary wildly that time of year. Sometimes there are nice days in April in New York or in the UK. Sometimes it's snowing. No way to predict. I think you can probably expect daytime temps in the 50's-low 60's though. Personally, I love sea days. And I think you'll find plenty on any of NCL's new ships to keep you occupied. I'm 32, and I've never been bored. And I've never even used the main pool on a cruise. Too many people.

    Thanks for the reply.

We are currently booked in a balcony on the 15th floor. We would most likely get a spa pass rather then upgrading to a spa suite. Is the spa nice for relaxing and such? We have never been into the spa on a NCL cruise. We sailed the escape and loved it. There was plenty to do and very rarely found myself bored.

  3. Hi Ya'll,

I'm not new to cruising whats so ever as my wife and I sail 2-4 times a year, but would be new to a Transatlantic cruise. My wife and I are possibly going on the NCL Bliss from Southampton - New York on April 21st for the inaugural cruise. This has been a dream that my wife and I have had, and this is the first time we have the chance at doing one.. So on the questions.

We are from Florida where its warm and use to the Caribbean cruises. Since this is in April and up North are there really any pool days?

Hows the weather through out the cruise this time a year? Icebergs, snow ect?

Would we be bored with no pool days? We went on the NCL Escape and LOVED it.. But we had pool days. Is there going to be enough for us to do as we are in the mid to high 20s.

Is it better to stay on the port or starboard during a transatlantic cruise?

I'm sure I will have more questions. But thanks in advance for taking time to answer.

    Thanks,

    Jay M.

  4. Hello all,

We are new to NCL, and of course this is our first time sailing on the Escape and trying to figure out how NCL works. We bought the 4 Pack dining plan and when I went to make reservations for the restaurants it said they were all full. Will I get a refund if there is no spots left in the restaurants or is there a way to make reservations so the restaurants I want to eat at? Also, what happens if there are no spots left? Do i get a refund?

    Thanks in advance

    Jay

  5. Thanks for your reply! I love beer and loved that location due to the brew house being right there. Just seems like the room is far from everything else. Pool, other resturants, ect. Yes we should be gone while the shows are going on so you're correct it shouldn't be a problem.

I will check them out and see what people say about the room. Thanks again.

  6. Hello everybody,

I'm brand new to sailing with NCL, but not new to cursing as I have been on 9 Carnival ships before my upcoming sailing. My Fiance and I booked a Guaranteed Balcony on 4/23/16 and was assigned our cabin late last night, (8752). I was just wondering if this is an okay room or should I look at upgrading? We are not fancy and don't need anything flashy, but do hate when its loud in the room. Also, any hints or tips with Norwegian would be useful, as I stated above this my first time with NCL.

    Thanks, Jay
