I am hoping this will be seen by MercedMike or others who have used Keith for bear watching at ISP. Would like a little input as to length of time, and pricing.

MercedMike: You have mentioned several times about the great experience you have bear watching with Keith from Tekk Outfitters. Can you tell me how long the excursion was and what the price was? I looked up his web site but there is no detailed information regarding the bear watching excursion, pricing, etc.

There will be two adults and one child, age 14. We want two queen beds. How can we be sure we get that type of room when bidding on either Priceline or Hotwire? I don't want to bid on a hotel and find out I have been given a room with one twin bed :eek:

Also, how far in advance should I bid? If I need the room for early July, 2010 when should I start the bidding. If it is non-refundable I don't want to take the chance of bidding and then have to change our plans for whatever reason. :cool:

I, too, am wondering how far in advance to bid on a hotel for Seattle on Priceline. I have never used that site before so don't have any first hand experience. If I bid on a Seattle hotel and my bid is accepted and for some reason we must cancel our plans, does Priceline have a "no refund" policy? Would we just be out the entire amount they posted to our credit card? I don't want to bid too far in advance and risk losing my money, but I also don't want to wait too long and not be able to get a hotel room. I understand Seattle hotels can fill up quickly in the summer. We are looking at July, 2010.

Hank (or anyone else with expertise)....

Do you have any tips, suggestions, etc. for either Berlin, Dresden or Prague? We may be doing a river cruise and are looking for anyone experienced in visiting any of these cities. Hotel suggestions, tours, guides, "do not miss", etc.
