Carnival has a new Give Back with purpose excursion in Puerto Vallarta where you travel to Sayulita and San Pancho visiting local areas (restaurants, school, orphanage, and beach village). It sounds like a really neat experience. I can't find any reviews, has anyone gone on this excursion? I would love to hear any feedback on the experience.
Also, does anyone have any thoughts or concerns regarding safety in traveling to these two cities?

OK... I now know that I can't upload an Excel file (which is what my cruise planner is formatted in ), so if anyone would like the .xls file, please reach out to me via email and I'll be happy to send you the entire file. All the tabs are pre-formatted so that once you plug in your sail date and your ship name on the first page (Travel Info), this info populates corresponding cells on the other tabs. It also has a preset reminders tab that will take your cruise date and automatically calculate reminders for certain activities that you need to do pre-cruise at different intervals (1, 2, 3 weeks prior). In the meantime, I will attempt to post .pdf's of the individual tabs. Crossing my fingers and hoping this works. :)
Sherri, I would love a copy of your Excel spreadsheet if you are still willing to share. My email is emilybschmidt1234@hotmail.com. Thank you for all of your work in putting it together!

I have a severe allergy to MSG...carry an epipen for it and everything....I have been on several Carnival cruises and never once have I had a reaction, so I highly doubt the MSG claim.
I also react to MSG (even really, really small amounts) and we are cruising for our first time on Miracle and I'm really nervous about finding things I can eat. I'd love to hear what you found that works for you on board.

Hank, thank you so much for your reply! I believe the purpose of going to San Pancho is to meet up with a non-profit organization to do some volunteering in that community. I really appreciate your response, thank you. We are excited for the trip.
