    Conquest Seafood Shack

    I was on the Valor this week and they also have the same seafood shack. I ordered the clam chowder bread bowl. It was good, but the bread wasn't sour dough. I would order it again.

    I also ordered the fried seafood plate. It came with a lot of food but I wouldn't order it again.

    Im on the conquest right now. Went and tried the peel and eat half lb of shrimp and it was delicious. (Got 12 nice size shrimp cooked spicy for $6)

     

    Thinking about going back tonight. Our dinner is elegant night. Just dont feel like getting cute been sailing all of today since leaving aruba yesterday. :cool:

    Got this and thought I would share for anyone else sailing with me this Saturday 10/14. Funny thing is there is NO cruise before us as she is in dry dock. Guess they are running behind lol!

     

     

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION

    CARNIVAL CONQUEST

    Dear Guest,

     

    Your cruise is right around the corner and we want to provide you with some important information regarding your embarkation experience.

     

    We expect the disembarkation process from the previous cruise to run later than usual. Therefore, please add one hour to your Arrival Appointment and plan to come at the new time. Guests who arrive outside of their Arrival Appointment can expect longer wait times in line.

     

    Hmmm. My email today said delayed 3 hrs from the scheduled check in of 1:30 to 2:30. Now our check in is 4:30 5:30pm also says lido will be serving dinner once boarded. Im not plat and dont have FTTF. Is that why i didnt get the email you did?

     

     

    Here in hyatt place near the port with Dh trying to schedule a late check out.

    I usually pick up a bottle or two for an attorney friend that I work with. Be aware that the shops on shore are wise to Carnival's price match guarantee and many won't openly display the price. Last year I purchased two bottles on the ship for $49.95 each and later found it for $34 in a shop on the pier at St. Maarten. When I snapped a shot of the price, the shop owner yelled to me that there were no pictures allowed and the shop security officer demanded I delete the photo. I refused and sprinted out the door with the shop security officer in pursuit. Losing him in the crowd I just managed to clear the security line back to the ships. Back on the ship that evening, the Funshops manager didn't want to honor the price, be relented when I told him what I went through to get it. :D

    Faster to the Fun is something you can buy on line in your booking. It includes priority check in and boarding time as well as access to a special area for customer care onboard the ship during the cruise (without waiting in long normal line), and I think maybe it is supposed to get your luggage to your room faster too....It can be found in the excursion tab and you only need to buy one per room (not per person) to cover all those traveling in your stateroom.

     

    This means you can enter the terminal for check in whenever you arrive (as long as they have started allowing access for everyone). Also, you will be allowed to board after Weddings/Diamond/Platinum and before general boarding for everyone else.

     

    I think there may be a few other perks others can elaborate on as I have never bought it (Platinum and don't need it ;))

     

    PS this is also first come first served.... and there are a limited allotment for sale.

    Dang it! :o Just went to carnival excursion section. I guess we lucked out this cruise on FTTF it's not available. Wish I knew sooner

    Glad you made it thru. Here in Atlanta it's pretty windy and rainy out. Our lights keep blinking on and off. I just hope it moves on quickly. We are due to cruise OCT/14th from ft Lauderdale. That's 33 days away.

    Port parking is what we plan to do. Terminal 18 open parking lot seems easy enough if I hop out with luggage while Porter takes them away.

     

    DH can just park in the closest available space and cross the street to meet me at check in. (No kids in tow) yippeeee:D
