  1. It's always hard to tell about a stateroom until you stay there because you could have noisy neighbors (I hope not). I had a cleaning closet next to my room once and that was noisy when he put stuff away around 10 pm and/or got stuff out around 6 am but it wasn't unbearable. Yes, I love the ship because it's small. I can't imagine going on one of the new mega ships with 8,000 people.

    Have a great time!

  2. it will show every floor so you can see where everything's at, including your room. I love love love Enchantment (and it's sister ship Grandeur). I went on 2 cruises on Enchantment when it was based in Baltimore and 2 back-to-back cruises on it December 2013 and 2014 (to celebrate my birthday). Now that it's moved to Miami, it will be an even longer drive from VA but totally worth it for me so going to do the 4-night for my birthday in December.

I am going on Grandeur (same class ship but the Enchantment was expanded a few years ago so it has the Boleros Lounge that Grandeur doesn't have and also more staterooms so it holds a few more people). I am going on a 12-night on Grandeur (by myself!!!) on October 31st so get to go to a Halloween party that night. I'm on the 4th floor where the Centrum is so the party will be near "home" for me.

Have a great time and look for the drink server Jefferson - he's the best. Tell him Rhonda from VA said hi.

  3. and fell in love with it while it was in Baltimore. Was on the infamous (to me) "cruise to nowhere" - my 1st time on that ship in October 2012 when it was supposed to go to Bermuda but once we all boarded, we were told the hurricane meant we had to anchor off Cape Charles. Boy were there a lot of angry passengers! My sister and I were already unpacked so we decided to stay on - half the ship got off. We didn't leave port until 10 pm and had the best time ever, even though it stormed the entire time and we couldn't go outside. Got to know some of the crew (Jefferson is my favorite drink server ever!). I have done 2 solo b2b December birthday cruises on it in Port Canaveral (2013 and 2014) and hope to get a cheap last minute solo 4-night cruise on it for my birthday this year. Maybe even a b2b if I can get great deals. It's a long drive from VA but totally worth it!! I'll be a Diamond member after the 12-night I am taking (solo) on Grandeur out of Baltimore on Oct. 31st. Just got my Halloween costume in the mail - sure hope it fits! Sorry this is so long - I type for a living lol and can't help myself. Loved all your pictures, Michael, and reviews.
