  1. Hi All,

We are first time cruisers travelling with two teenagers on voyager. My sister and her three children are also travelling with us so all up we will have 8yrs, 13yrs, 14yrs, 15yrs and 16yr olds.

My question is around lunch time dining in particular, are the children allowed to go and eat without an adult at lunch? If so, whereabouts?

If the kids are wanting a mid afternoon snack is that inclusive in fare or do you pay extra?

    TIA :)

P.S They are respectful, trustworthy, well behaved kids ;)

  2. Could anyone tell me how dinner times coincide with the shows onboard?

We are undecided what to do in relation to dinner time slots.

Are the dinner schedules flexible at all if we chose the main dining as I believe you are allotted the same table each evening

We also have 2 teenagers travelling in our group with food allergies so this also needs to be taken into consideration with possibly pre-ordering dinner for the next evening.

We are going on the Voyager 13th Dec 2016.

Any info very much appreciated :D

  3. Hi All,

Found this info which refers to USA, just wondering if anyone knows if this is also honoured for AU? :D

Get a discount on your Royal Caribbean cruise

    2. Firefighters and Police Officers

If you are an active or retired employee or volunteer of a local or state law enforcement agency, fire department or Emergency Medical Services unit in the United States or Canada, you can qualify for a discount.

Qualified guests must present valid proof of employment (badge or ID) plus a second form of identification when boarding the ship.

    Cheers,

    Nicole

  4. We are sailing on the Ovation of The Seas out of Sydney on the 15n Christmas Cruise. With the discount we have just paid $2296.04 for the 2 of us, for the Premium Beverage Package - and that's not the top of the range package!

    Is that AUD or USD?

The prices I am seeing in our cruise planner are in AUD Select *From $51.79, Premium From* $69.05 and Ultimate From*$76.90.

Nowhere does it state if these prices are before or after discount of 20%.

Can anyone shed any light on this? ;)

  5. we cruised on the Voyager in April this year. We purchased the Ultimate Drink package through the cruise Planner for $43 AUD, I advise you check every day as the same deal went up a day later to $52 AUD.

I was shocked when we got on board to find the same package at $65USD we had ourselves a bargain. The four couples we were travelling had all done the same.

Next time around we will try to pre buy again .

Have just checked our cruise planner and it states they are offering 20% off drinks packages. The Premium Beverages Package is *from $69.05 AU but nowhere does it state if that is before or after the 20% discount

Can anyone shed any light on this?

    Thanks :)

  6. Hi All,

We are first time cruisers and been told a lot of people will attend the service desk and ask for the pre-paid gratuities be removed and they choose who and when to tip throughout the cruise. Has anyone done this is?

I'd much rather tip our waiters/stewards directly, but unsure if this is acceptable?

On another note, I have read that gratuities are not equally shared amongst staff with some receiving more than others.

Does anyone have inside info on the distribution of tips?

    Cheers :)
