  1. Years ago we had crusted baby lamb chops, outstanding. Well they are gone, so my favorite is now the escargot. Celebrity prepares it just right, no cheese, no frills, lots of butter and garlic, and of course the warm bread to soak up the crumbs. Can't wait until April.....

  2. Friends and I were on the Regal in April, and one of the women saw a necklace by Alor. The next day all jewelry was put away, and the manager said the Regal would only be carrying Effy. We are now sailing the Emerald in November. Anyone know the designers that are shown on that ship? Thanks.

  3. I also was on that sailing last week, and was hoping everything was ok. A few years ago on a RCCL ship the Captain made an announcement at dinner that we were returning back to Bermuda to evacuate a passenger with medical emergency. The next day the captain reported that all was well with the gentleman who was in his 40's having a heart problem. Everyone cheered.... 1) The passenger was ok, 2) the Captain made the right decision to turn around.

  4. I wish there was diet tonic, but no restaurants seem to use them either, so I do a "vodka sonic"....vodka, with 1/2 tonic, 1/2 club. A local bartender made it up, and now that is all I get, especially with a citrus vodka, less sweet but still tasty.

  5. Our dinner reservation was for 6pm but the cruise card stated 5:30. We were told the 6pm had been eliminated but we came anywhere from 5:45 to 6:15, no problem. The previous year on the Ruby there were 3 dining times.

Power outage?? Had no idea. Only heard an announcement that we had to be back on board in St. Thomas at 9:30. We liked it and hope it is done again.

  6. Many years ago on a Celebrity cruise I saw 2 pool lounges with a book and a towel on them, this was at 10:30am. I asked the people who were sitting next to them if anyone was sitting there. The reply was "I have been here 2 hours and no one has come by". I put their things on a ledge and my husband and I sat down. About an hour later a woman comes by and says she was sitting there. Politely I said no one was here. She left.

Another time a man came up to me and said that was his "shade" chair, he already had one in the sun. Are you kidding me? This was Easter week.

I have found in the last few years people move around a lot more and don't sit in the same spot all day. Seems to be getting better.
