  1. Well I will be quoting the Celebrity UK Website description of the package:

    Classic Drinks Package

Non-Alcoholic Classic Drinks Package: All Fountain and Canned Soda, Bottled Juices such as cranberry, tomato, pineapple and apple, Fresh Squeezed Juices, Premium Coffees and Teas, and Bottled Water.

    $18.00 per person, per day*

Classic Drinks Package: Upgrade your cruise experience and pay one price to enjoy all of the benefits of our Classic soft drinks package, plus all beers up to $6 per serving, wines up to $9.00 per glass and spirits and cocktails $8 per glass. Plus, with the purchase of this Classic Package, you can enjoy a 15% discount on all wines by the bottle purchased on board, even our prized Reserve Wine list and Rare Wine list.

    $55.00 per person, per day*

    It clearly says Canned Soda.

I believe this is the old description since all the drinks (beers, cocktails, and wines) are up to $9 now.

  2. Just off Silhouette yesterday and "pay the difference" was in effect. I loved it as I enjoy a martini before dinner and $3.54 was cheaper than upgrading. They did move a few of my favorite vodkas to Premium but I found Tito and Stoli just fine.

Glad to know that both Tito's and Stoli are still on Classic. Thanks!

  3. any list you see of brands is an example of what you might be able to order. We have been on cruises where Ketel One is only on the Premium package...others where it's part of classic. We saw Titos on our last cruise...and of course Tito's cost less than Ketel One so one would think it's on the classic package, but logic doesn't help.

Taking this one step further, the classic package includes everything in the standard package plus more. Standard Package lists that I've seen in multiple places specifically list an "americano" as part of the standard package. I've tried to order it on the classic package and I've been told by multiple bartenders that the price of an americano exceeds the limit on the classic package. It would be nice if the left hand and right hand actually talked and things that are written and handed out on a ship were actually applied on the same ship. (yes, after a very short discussion with the F&B Manaager, we were not charged for Americanos on the rest of the cruise).

Pardon my dumb question, but is there a list on your cruise that tells which brands fall under the different package levels or do you just have to ask the bartender?

  4. As someone who has used both as a kid, I preferred the sofa bed. However, I was afraid of bunk beds as a kid so that played a part. The one con to the sofa bed was that my dad would want to go on the balcony in the morning and would try to climb over me, as I slept, to get there.
