  1. Hello everyone. I am taking my mother on a cruise next week on Independence of the Seas. She currently recovering from radiation therapy for her cancer. Her doctor gave her the ok to go but she worried about the amount of walking on board. My question is: if she uses the scooter or wheelchair to get to the dinning room is there a place we could park it so she could use a regular dinning chair. And along those same lines if we used the wheelchair/scooter to get to gangplank for our excursions could we leave it there and get it when we come back?

    Thanks for your help.

  2. Hello. I am having a hard time deciding between two cruises for February 2019.

The first is a 7 night Western Caribbean on Liberty of the Seas. The Ports of Call: Roatan, Belize City, and Cozumel.

The second is a 7 night Western Caribbean on Symphony of the Seas. The Ports of Call: Roatan, Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Nassau.

I went on an Eastern Caribbean (St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Nassua) cruise on Allure in February and I will be going Labadee and Falmouth on Independence of the Seas in November.

I live in Michigan so I will have to fly either way. I will be booking an ocean view balcony on either ship. The $500 savings and port stop in Belize are really intriguing. But going on the new ship would be awesome. If you were picking, which one would you choose and why. I want to have my mind made up by November so I can book it on my next cruise.

  3. For those who have been to Falmouth before, what is your favorite beach based excursion? I have reserved the VIP at Bamboo Beach but after reading some reviews I am concerned. I don't need additional activities just the best beach.

  4. I can do that but it is the principle of the whole matter. By paying for a single I have already paid for 2 people (minus the port taxes and gratuities). I should be able to add her to the balcony room without any additional costs (except the port taxes and gratuities).

At this point I would be happy to paid to add her to the interior room if they would give me a ship board credit to offset it.

  5. I am so upset with Royal Caribbean. About 6 months ago I booked two rooms for the November 27th sailing on Independence of the Seas. I booked an interior stateroom (category K) for my sister and I and booked a balcony stateroom (category D1) for my mom as a single travel. At the time of booking I did not know who she would be traveling with, my dad or my aunt. Today, I went to add my aunt to my mom's room and I was told I was not allowed. The reason they are not currently taking reservations for a double occupancy in that room category, so I was not allowed to added her. They could put them in another category balcony room but I would have to do so at today's prices. :loudcry: I could add my aunt to the interior stateroom at the additional cost of $350 plus gratuities. Does anyone know if I transferred these reservations to travel agent would they be able to add my additional guest?

  6. Question - We told Bernard's we dock at 8:00, this is when Royal Caribbean says we dock. I did not realize that St. Maarten is on AST an hour ahead of EST. This means we dock at 9:00 local time. Bernard's confirmation email says to be at the starting location at 8:30. I told them we are on the Allure of the Seas. Is the 8:30 local time or ship time?

  7. Hello. I need some quick help. I am going to St. Maarten on the Allure of the Seas next week. St. Maarten is on AST. Royal Caribbean says we dock at 8:00 that day. Is this local time or ship time which I would assume is EST. I booked a tour through Bernard's. They say I need to be at their location at 8:30. I told Bernard's we dock at 8:00 not realizing the time difference. Do I need to change the time of my tour?

Also, do I need my passport to cross the board to go to the French side?

    Thanks,

    Theresa
